Event Manager RJ helped create the perfect atmosphere for our event. He was open to our ideas (decorating the garden wall, playing the graduation march…) and desire to have a semi-private area to celebrate our son’s doctorate. RJ put together a smorgasbord of food to include our vegan guests. The fig buck goat & traditional pepperoni pizza, and the beet salad were outstanding. Our vegan guests raved over the vegan sausage and pizza. RJ, Cade & Pedro made sure everyone was well fed and comfortable throughout the event with a smile at every turn. Highly recommend, whether for an event or to enjoy an endless choice of beers and kombucha. A big THANK YOU to RJ and crew of SB Biergarten!!

This place was pretty awesome! Visited with my family, and had some food and drinks here. We sat outside, really liked the chill vibe. All the food was great – pizza was delicious, as well as the beet and arugula salad, and the schnitzel. Good selection of nice and cold beer, which you can get in variety of sizes. Service was super fast, got our food in just a few minutes!

Great place to hang out. Great beer, truly surprisingly good food (try the pretzel), and amazing atmosphere. Good place to meet people. It gets packed tho so might struggle to find seating.

We were looking for food and locally-made beer on a hot day after visiting the pier (where there was no vegan food to be found) and came across the Biergarten nearby. After being disappointed on the pier, we were fearful we’d only be able to get beer, but then saw the Vegan Chipotle Sausage on their menu – Yes, Please! Pickles, sauerkraut, grilled onions, and dang! Look at all the different kinds of mustard they have! Wowee zowee! I’m in heaven. So perfect on a hot day, delicious, mouth-watering, thirst-quenching beers and sandwiches – couldn’t have been better. Well, I guess it could have been better if it were an all-vegan restaurant, but maybe that’s asking too much for Santa Barbara, California. You know they’re not that healthy out there. LOL
