TL;DR – Hyvee employees treat customers based on looks and demographics. Do not shop here.
I liked shopping here since they have variety. However, Hyvee always plays with their pricing and lately they have increased, but don’t tell the store. Today, I got cheese and advertised $8.99 but rung up at $9.99. The employee was asked by the cashier to assist and I explained that the cheese is priced $8.99 so they should guarantee their advertised price. The employee first said that he needed to check the price on the shelf, then decided to take it off my purchase. This really got me upset as I’ve seen other instances of their cashiers take the customer at their word. Unbelievable!! Hyvee employee’s judge you based on demographics. This is NOT my first time experiencing this type of treatment. I spend alot of hard earned money here only to be treated poor. Here is my fuel saver to show proof that I shop here and not just a jerk. I’m taking my business elsewhere, keep your judgemental employees I’m done.

Cannot seem to get anyone to answer at customer service. No way to call anyone at marketplace and no way to see online what food they serve at hychi. Phone prompt for customer service desk went to meat department. Gave up.
