Went for dinner on Christmas eve. The ambience had a very peaceful vibe.

Food was overall nice. Tom Yum soup had proper spicy and sour flavor to it.
Crispy spring rolls were very crispy, loved it. They serve some sweet sauce with it, instead we tried it with the spicy (prik pao) sauce from our main course and that made it even better. Drunken noodles were nice. Prik Pao sauce with mock duck were quite tasty.

If you’re Asian (or used to spicy food), I’ll recommend ordering hot to get the taste of flavors.

Best service, very accommodating. They quickly changed the order according to our needs.

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this Thai vegan restaurant, as I’ve never really had a great experience with vegan food before. To my surprise, the dishes here were packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying! Everything tasted fresh, healthy, and full of depth—you honestly don’t miss the meat at all.

The service was also excellent—attentive, welcoming, and friendly without being overbearing. It really added to the overall experience. We tried the summer roll, Thai spring rolls, vegetable dumplings, Thai fried rice with mock duck and pineapple fried rice

If you’re hesitant about vegan food like I was, this spot will definitely change your mind. Delicious, healthy, and made with pride.

We love this gem!! The menu is extensive and with everything being vegan, it is so hard to choose but you certainly can’t go wrong here. We have been here twice and have loved everything we had. The flavors are so delicious, the veggies are cooked so well, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Also, the servers were all so friendly and attentive! I can’t wait until our next meal here.

A Delightful Thai-Inspired Experience

I had the pleasure of dining with my family at Green Elephants Vegan in the heart of Watkins Glen, NY — a cozy spot offering plant-based takes on Thai and Southeast Asian favorites. The experience was nothing short of delightful.

First up was the Somtum (Green Papaya Salad) — crisp, refreshing, and beautifully plated with a carved carrot flower. The shredded green papaya was perfectly crunchy and tangy, with just the right amount of chili heat at our requested medium spice level. It was balanced, zesty, and super fresh, making it the perfect appetizer to awaken the palate.

Next, I dug into the Tofu Larb — a vibrant, protein-packed dish that delivered layers of flavor. The tofu was crumbled and tossed with fresh mint, red onions, scallions, chili flakes, and lime juice. It had the signature tang and heat you expect from larb, but with a soft, satisfying tofu twist. Again, the presentation was on point.

The star of the night? The Pineapple Fried Rice. Hearty, subtly sweet from the pineapple, and dotted with vegetables and raisins, it hit all the right notes. The medium spice level gave it just enough kick without overpowering the dish.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was prompt — food arrived quickly, piping hot, and full of flavor. If you find yourself in the Finger Lakes area and craving something healthy, flavorful, and plant-based, Green Elephants Vegan is a must-try.

The summer roll was stuffed with fresh vegetables and had a delicious crunch. The waiter recommended the curry puff, and it tasted stale. The ginger tofu lunch was filling and tasty and was a wholesome meal with the salad and miso soup. Tastefully decorated restaurant with comfortable seating. Clean restroom.
