Great quality Thai food! Amazing curry, pad thai, and soups. Everything has strong, distinct flavors and seasoning. We had level 2 out of 3 spice in our curry which was very enjoyable; if you like spice, a level 3 would be perfectly manageable. Also loved the (cooked) tuna jalepeno poppers. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again!

This place is such a step above for both sushi and Thai. Everything is cooked to perfection with a super skillful balance of crisp fresh veggies in every dish to the meat or protein. The tempeh is the most unique style of tempeh for those who eat vegan. They also serve a chopped steak, which is something I’ve not yet seen, but looks awesome.

Our table shared a volcano roll, tom yum, pad see ew, pad Thai, and panang curry. Don’t sleep on the Thai iced tea or coffee they will send you into another dimension.

The place is family and locally owned and operated and it shows. Awesome selection of wine and sake, with a few choice beers as well. Reasonable and fair corkage fee for those special occasions where you want to amp it up.

I can’t wait to eat here all winter long!

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever tried. The sushi is so fresh and has that Umami as well.
I went my my family for lunch here and ordered 2 Thai lunch specials along with one sushi special.
Everything was so delicious you want to come here everyday for lunch!
I mean, you can see the chef achievement/certifications to reach the level he has with those flavors.
I tried Thai food in the past in all sorts of places and was not convinced it was something I liked until I tried this restaurant. I’m I new Thai food lover. I don’t usually order dessert when I go to restaurants but every flavor here was in point that I decide to try the Mango sticky rice. Wow!
I will be coming more often after my this.
My family agreed this restaurant is amazing. Thank you so much for bringing delicious food to Palatine

Such a gem of a Thai restaurant! The crab rangoon was house-made with a perfectly light and crispy skin—one of the best I’ve had. The Pad Thai was flavorful and well-balanced, and the papaya salad tasted incredibly authentic, just like in Thailand. Don’t forget to treat yourself to their refreshing Thai iced tea—it ties the whole meal together beautifully. We ended with the mango sticky rice, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’m so happy to have an authentic Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Definitely will come back to try their sushi next time!

We came in during the first winter storm of the season and were warmed by the fragrant curries, family hospitality, beautiful atmosphere and artistic presentation. I do not remember when I have had such delicious Thai food. I was worried maybe all the 5-star reviews couldn’t be true, but they really are Sara, our host, was so kind, lovely and fun. A true family establishment run by fine chefs and generous hearts. Highly recommend everything we ordered: the Thai eggplant, panang curry, Alaskan maki and hot tea (with plenty of refills). Can’t wait to try more Wishing them the most success – they truly deserve it.

We’ve been to this Thai restaurant twice now, and both times the food quality has been consistently excellent.

On our first visit, we ordered the green curry and the Fresh Ginger Delight. It was my first time trying tempeh, which came in the curry, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was—it added a nice texture and soaked up the flavors well. The ginger dish was also very flavorful and satisfying. We also tried their version of rangoon, and it was amazing—the filling-to-wrapper ratio was just right, making each bite perfectly balanced.

On our second visit, we had the Rama Delight, Kai Kua Noodles, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The Rama Delight was a bit spicy for my taste, but I still really enjoyed it—the flavors were spot-on for a Thai peanut-based dish. The Kai Kua Noodles had that irresistible “wok hei” (wok fragrance) that makes a stir-fry truly special. My husband had it with tempeh again and loved it. As for the Sweet and Sour Chicken, I’m usually hesitant to order it because it can easily go too sweet or too sour, but this version was perfectly balanced. The sauce complemented the dish without overwhelming it, and the chicken stayed nice and crispy.

I also love their wall art—you can tell they paid attention to the details, especially in how they brought out the Japanese-Thai fusion theme. It really adds to the overall dining experience.

The service was great—we couldn’t ask for more. Friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive.

Overall, this is hands down the best Thai restaurant we’ve been to in the area. We’re looking forward to coming back again!

This is one of the best spots for thai and sushi in Palatine! Everything we tried was amazing – pad thai, tom yum, curry, volcano lava sushi roll (one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had in a while!). Amazing vegetarian protein options as well, which is rare to find! Overall 10/10 recommend!

This is the best sushi I’ve had in AGES! Easily the best in the sushi in the northwest suburbs, too. The rice is fluffy, the fish was fresh, and the presentation was BEAUTIFUL. Sorry for the half-eaten plate Pic. I couldn’t help myself! Don’t miss this neighborhood gem in Palatine.

I recently visited Sushi Plus Thai in Palatine during their soft opening, and it was an excellent experience! I tried the Philly Raw Maki Roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is family-owned by Sarah and her family, who are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests.

The atmosphere is clean, quiet, and relaxing—perfect for either lunch or dinner. Their menu has a great variety to choose from, and I’m excited to come back to try more dishes. The location is ideal with plenty of foot traffic, and I truly hope this spot thrives.

I highly recommend Sushi Plus Thai if you’re looking for outstanding sushi in a chill, friendly environment. I’ll definitely be back soon!
