A cozy local Queens gem with traditional European interiors and a classic feel.
The Vongole Oreganata (baked clams) appetizer was the highlight of the meal—rich in flavor and generously portioned. We also spotted the melon and prosciutto at a nearby table that looked just as amazing. The flourless chocolate cake rounded out the meal nicely. Overall, great food in a warm setting.

Considering it was empty, the service was slow, but it was kind of worth it for how good the food was. Risotto was flawless despite the sauce being a bit broken. The crostini was great, the salmon was fully cooked but moist, and level of spice in my pasta dish was well above par. I’ll come back in better weather to try their backyard patio.

A truly excellent Italian restaurant. The Ossobuco with saffron risotto was an absolute standout — tender, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The meat fell right off the bone, and the risotto had that perfect creamy texture with just the right hint of saffron. If you’re looking for authentic Italian comfort food done right, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Such a cozy neighborhood spot. Most people were dressed up or celebrating an occasion when we went, which was a bit surprising for me who thought this was more causal. The food was good but not amazing hence the 4/5 but the service was amazing. The place is definitely small but I think they have outdoor space as well. It was a chilly night when we went so we didn’t see. It’s definitely a great spot in LIC but not the best Italian we’ve had. If you’re a local and craving some pasta, I’d recommend.

Today me and my husband visited this restaurant for our wedding anniversary with planned reservations made in advance. We kindly asked the gentleman at the front desk to be seated in a quiet area since I could hear the loud group from the entrance of the restaurant, and we ended up being within the same area as them when there were perfectly good seats for just two people in the front of the restaurant. Long story short, they paid more attention to this obnoxious table than us as if we weren’t also customers of the restaurant and the lady at the table was so drunk she ended up puking all over the table and floor. We left before they could even offer desert. I understand you cannot control what a group does when they are at the table but when a paying customer with reservations asked to be seated somewhere quiet it should have been honored. The staff hardly even asked us if we were okay or needed anything. This is the last time we will ever frequent the establishment. Sucks because we used to love coming here since my husband is Italian and loves the food here. However the food this time around wasn’t so good. There was so much salt in my main dish that I also almost felt sick.

6/9/21 last visit to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I loved the dim lighting, it was cozy, the music was great so was the service. Food was good. I ordered the lamb chops (which were very good) but the sauce was a bit salty and I did mention it to the waiter. Everything was great and Jonathan our waiter was exceptional. You must check out the backyard for dining.will recommend and family return

My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. Food was absolutely mouth watering. I walked out feeling like a whale, and it was so worth it!

Service was attentive and friendly to all guests.

We were seated in their back patio, however they do have indoor seating and second floor if it’s super busy.

This will now be our go-to authentic Italian cuisine!

***PLEASE BE ADVISED WE ARE VERY UPSET WITH THE SERVICE***
My boyfriend set a reservation for Valentine’s Day in advance at 8:30pm. We arrived at the restaurant 8:20pm. In the doorway before the hostess’ desk there were at least 6-7 couples waiting before us. We checked in and the hostess proceeded to tell us “just give me a few minutes”. While standing and waiting in the doorway, there was a couple who complained because another couple who came after them was seated before them. I had asked the couple if they had a reservation and they said it was at 8pm (mind you it was 8:30pm at this point). Shortly after, the hostess then sat that couple. A lot of people who complained about waiting for their reservation were always the next to be sat. During this time a group of 6 people who came in after us were sat before us. The group of people waiting just kept growing and the hostess kept telling everyone coming in to give her a few minutes. I am disappointed in the lack of communication from the restaurant, how unorganized the seating process was, and how my experience on Valentine’s Day was at the restaurant. We left the restaurant at 9:12pm after still not being sat for almost 1 hour It seems like there was booking issue extending the wait time to 45 minutes per each party checking in. Attached are time stamps of the time we set the reservation, us waiting still at 9:05pm, and us leaving.

The food and service were amazing. We loved this restaurant. The servers were on point (especially Jonathan) and constantly checked on us. We stayed a little late, but didn’t feel like they were rushing us out. Without us asking, they heard us talking about sharing things and split everything for us (I love sharing food). Our food was also amazing: taste and appearance.

The patio is partially enclosed and has heaters over each table. There are dividers between tables.

We ordered the specials: Appetizers: truffle infused burrata cheese, lobster bisque. Entrées: shrimp with risotto and a branzino seafood plate. Dessert: Cheese cake and strawberry zabaglione (a sauce made from wine and egg yokes). I hope we can visit here again.

Go to their website to view much better photos of the food.

Cozy spot for Italian-American cuisine that reminds me of the places I went to growing up. My girlfriend and I visited on a Monday night, so it was definitely off-peak volume, but that suited us just fine. 🙂
