We were passing through, and I ordered take out while on the road. Food was good. It was ready in the timeframe they projected. I showed up early because I should have ordered sooner, but it was a last minute decision. It gave me the opportunity to chat with friendly patrons and staff while waiting. We had hamburgers and fries. The patties were a little better than done, but not shoe leather, like five guys. If you prefer a medium or rare burger, don’t forget to let them know. It would have been helpful if they had asked my preference, but it also would have been great if I had just thought about the fact that, unless otherwise asked, resteraunts are always going to cook meat to a point far beyond death, for the sake of liabilities. I would go back, for sure.

If your driving toward Boise or Lewiston on US 95 any time of day you must make a stop at Drovers Run Restaurant and Bar outside Culdesac, and 20 miles from Lewiston. Watch for it. It’s easy to miss at 55 mph. Have driven pass it for over 15 years.

Great atmosphere inside (log cabin-type structure), extensive menu covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with all items made a-little-bit-different,,,a little bit country: Smoke-house, Chicken-fried, Ranch hand breakfast, etc. Pricing on standard items excellent. Service excellent. Say hello to Cathy. Also, has small gift shop.

I wish I had taken a photo of the massive order of onion rings! Some of the best I’ve had and the homemade ranch with it was spectacular. I went with the gouda bacon burger that came with HOME CUT fries. Ill be back. Try this place, trust me.

Stopped in here with my brother yesterday to grab a late lunch, and found the food was excellent. Best fried mushrooms I’ve had in a long time. And personally, best in the valley. Would definitely consider them a return spot.

Thank you folks for the awesome experience.

Great service, down home, like your best neighbor making sure you are having a great time, everything you need. Super atmosphere, the FOOD was AMAZING, and our time there was with traveling from Pomeroy, WA to Culdesac, ID. Take the time to stop in, you won’t be disappointed.
