This was the best pizza we had since moving to NC. When going here just go to The Taproom they are located behind them. And you can order beer or wine from the taproom. (GPS took us in some weird alley.) I did a beer flight and it was amazing local beer. We sat outside with our one year old and propped his portable chair and he enjoyed the pizza too.

The best pizza spot around. The dough is definitely the main character at this spot. Highly recommend the pinnacle-very fresh light and filled with juicy chicken and bacon. The cinnamon sticks are perfection, very sweet and the dough soaks up all the ingredients. Did get another pizza with mozzarella, mushroom and sausage and just as great as the other. You can’t go wrong here. This pizza spot is hidden between two buildings, however the food makes up for it all.

The place was pretty good! It’s in the cut. The parking is alittle tricky, but it’s worth the hassle for the place. The pizza is Neapolitan style and it’s really good. It’s all one size and they are personal pizzas that come with about 8 slices each. I just got a regular pepperoni pizza and it filled me up and I couldn’t finish mine. They have an outside area or an inside bar you can sit at and enjoy your pizza. The staff were very friendly and the music was pretty chill. A nice spot to grab some good quality pizza!

We got three pizzas, and while they weren’t huge, they were delicious, they came out quickly (even on a busy holiday) and the staff was really cool. The atmosphere is awesome, tucked between Seaboard and the Cigar 101 shop in downtown Matthews (they sort of share the seaboard patio space). Highly recommend.

I have lived in Matthews over 16 years and I just recently heard of this place. I had a hard time finding the building because it is small and located in a weird spot. I ordered 3 of their standard menu pizzas and they were all delicious. The cheese taste better then other pizza places and each slice had just enough. They use a wood fire oven which cooks the dough just right. I will never buy pizza from a large chain restaurant again.

This pizza is delicious. However, we called in advance about gluten free options. They assured us they would “clean” the oven before baking our gluten free order. My guests had real extensive reactions to the pizza. I don’t believe the business actually tried to provide gluten free pizza.

The pizza was excellent! Great toppings and fair prices. Order your pizza at a takeout window, and grab a seat at one of the many outdoor picnic tables. It’s attached to Seaboard, so pair it with a beer (they have soda and water options too) The salad was sizable for the price. We’ll be back!
