First visit here and ended up showing up right before they closed which was my mistake. But they were nice enough to sit me down and serve us as if they weren’t about to close. Waitress was kind and tried not to rush us as they were closing soon. Food was good and fresh and wasn’t low effort even though they were about to close. Everything was good including coffee. Will be back to try different items on the menu but would definitely recommend this place, and wouldn’t be afraid to say it’s now one of the better brunch places in Valpo.

Update after two weeks:
My wife ordered the French Toast again and the side of bacon. I ordered the cheeseburger, fries and it comes with soup (chicken lemon rice). The French Toast arrived without syrup. I had to ask for the bacon. She brought one small shot glass size of syrup. My wife needed two more. They are tiny. My burger doesn’t look fresh made. More like a frozen pattie. Very average at best. Oh, the bacon was very chewy again not crispy. It was more like beef jerky! The soup was good. We are done with this place.
Opening day. Fast friendly service. All of the staff were hustling around. Very attentive. Nice menu selections. Nice bright colorful interior. Padded booths and table and chairs. We ordered the French Toast and Biscuits and Gravy Combo. The food came after a short wait. My gravy was only luke-warm. Not much taste. My scrambled eggs were good as were the hashbrowns. I wanted crispy bacon but it was soggy and limp. Same for my wife’s order. My wife’s French toast was good. It was opening day so we’ll try them again down the road. As of now, there are better breakfast/lunch places in Valpo.

I’ve been here 3 times since opening and it’s great! Food portions are large and the atmosphere is nice. Try the skillets or the strawberry pancakes they were delicious

Well for being the 1st (Offical Public) customer, I would have to say that my experience was nothing but exceptional. The owner and staff were friendly and inviting. The Food was flavorfull with large portions, not to mention they charged less than other places in the area. We were very happy with our experience and will be back for me meals in the future.

My sister came in town and we decided to try this spot. Liz A was our server and was so accommodating (we came with a toddler). She was speedy and very attentive. Portions were so generous for the price point and food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We will be back!

We had breakfast this morning and it was fantastic! I had 3 scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and pancakes for $10 and it was so good and I was stuffed! Our waitress was wonderful, she filled my glass with water and my clients coffee. The atmosphere is so light and sunny and everyone was so helpful! We definitely will be back!
