Ordered one pound of chopped brisket at the drive through window. Got home and saw they gave us one pound of cubed fat. Called to speak to manager and was on hold for five minutes. Called back and told counter person. Will never go back to this location. That food should have never left the kitchen. One star is too generous.

I brought my great Uncle out for lunch at Sonny’s here in Kingsland, Ga. The waitress(Denee) was phenomenal. She was very sweet and polite. She took great care of us. I haven’t seen my uncle smile so big in awhile. Thanks for the great service, good food, and nice atmosphere.

Four of us stopped here for lunch and there were no complaints. Pulled pork, brisket, and SERVICE were excellent! The restaurant also appeared to be very clean. Our server kept apologizing for the long wait because they were down a couple of servers that day. She was so pleasant we didn’t even notice. I wish I could remember her name. Highly recommend!

My daughter wanted a young Sheldon themed birthday party this year. So I went in to talk about catering options. I wish I had gotten the pit masters name cause he was absolutely incredible. He asked my daughter questions and looked at all of the options that would suit us best for the party. We mentioned we were doing barbecue cause rhe show is based in Texas and memaws brisket was a big point. When we picked up the food today they had remembered everything we talked about and even put a special note on one of the containers. He really went above and beyond to make my daughter’s day special and I know its just a little thing, but its the little things that usually mean the most. Thank you so much, she had an amazing day.

We had a wonderful experience at Sunny’s Bar-B-Q, and a big part of that was our server, Denicka S. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and paid close attention to every detail. She made sure our order was correct and prepared exactly as requested, and the food was absolutely delicious. Denicka checked on us throughout the meal without being intrusive and made us feel genuinely cared for. On top of that, she even took a moment to compliment me, which truly made my day. Sonny’s you have absolutely one of the most amazing servers that I have ever encountered or even been served by. Amber is an amazing and energetic soul. She was my wife and I and our 2 kids waitress I don’t know what it is about her but you definitely need more of her in your establishments. Hands down give her a 10/10

Had to delete my previous review because this place is on a slow decline. What happened to the pride you had a year ago? The last five or so visits the food has been horrible! The ribs on the last three visits have been gross. The last time I got a burger, which used to be my favorite, nearly made me vomit. Regarding the fixings, to this day, I don’t understand why you all think it’s ok to give people browned lettuce and the most ridiculously thinly sliced tomatoes I have ever seen. Let me also add, I have to lie and tell them I’m allergic to onions for them to not include them. If I just say, “no onions please,” they’re going to give me onions every single time.
Let’s talk about these sweet potatoes that cost 3.49/each. Are you serious? Look how small they are. Sonny’s used to be one of the good ones. I have no idea what’s going on with this place now. Very disappointing. These days, everything is expensive. If someone is using their hard earned money to patronize your business, you have an obligation to give them the best experience you can.
Please get some people on your staff that care.
