Sushi was not hand pressed and the rice was too overcooked. It felt like you were eating glutinous rice. The sushi would fall apart at the “seams”. Ended up just eating the fillings and fish. Way too much mayo and sauce on top of the sushi rolls too.
The rice portion on the nigiri was way too big and the tuna looked really not fresh. Staff didn’t even question it when collecting the plates so I told them, at the time of paying, about the rice and was told “I know, really sorry about that”.
The fried food was alright, hard to get wrong when most of it came from a packet.
Ramen was not great -the noodles looked like they had been sitting in the broth for some time because they had swelled.
Cash only venue.

I LOVED the food. This place is being slept on! We went when it was quite quiet so it was a nice evening. The staff are sweet and attentive. The food was flavourful, hearty, and tasted authentic. We also had the spring rolls and chicken dumplings (ate it so quickly I didn’t get a photo ) I’d highly recommend the sushi, particularly the king prawn roll. Chef’s kiss

I came here with two others on a Friday evening and was very happy with my meal.
I entered and was immediately greeted and seated by a woman who I think was the owner, she was lovely and seemed happy to be there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. It is calm, with soothing music, tasteful decorations, and warm lighting.
I ordered the Katsu Pork with Rice and Curry Sauce, my friends ordered the sharing sushi platter, spring rolls, and duck dumplings sides to share. The price is very good, each of us spending on average £13 to eat.
The food came out very fast, in about five to ten minutes for everything. Along with the meals ordered, the restaurant gave me a miso soup, and a complementary salad for the table.
My pork katsu curry was to die for. The presentation was immaculate and the curry sauce was the perfect consistency and tasted amazing. The true highlight was the pork; the breadcrumbs on the cutlet were the crispiest I have ever had and the meat was delicious.
The miso soup was delicious and I previously thought I simply do not like miso soup.
I am not a big fan of sushi, but my friends loved their order, and it looked like amazing sushi.
It was cash only when I visited. My meal for three came to £47 including one drink each and service charge.
Overall, this restaurant was a wonderful and tasteful experience for a good price.

Not a fan of Japanese food but was accompanying wife so selected spring rolls and Malaysian style king prawn noodles. Wife had pork belly udon and tuna sashimi. She loved her food as did i. Huge portions. Full of flavour. Fresh ingredients. Very reasonably priced. Much better quality and value than the well known large chain beginning with W that does similar food. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.

The place is cash only but other than that The food was great we went with 4 and my nephew the woman serving us was very kind and was playful with my nephew, we got seated right away ordered then got our food really fast, everything tasted so fresh and delicious the sashimi was amazing it melted in my mouth and the chicken katsu ramen was very filling i could barely finish all the food. 10/10 would definitely recommend
