Ordered sushi- the Thomaston Roll (with spicy tuna and crab), which was fresh and tasty, and the Mexican Roll (with “spicy” shrimp and spicy tuna), which was a little bland…the shrimp were not spicy. No frills. You order at counter, they give you your food in takeout boxes, then you are welcome to sit at tables. My mom ordered the chicken Yakisoba and said it was good. They were either out of or do not serve low sodium soy sauce.

They must clean the floors with WAX! Everybody was so cautious trying not to slip and fall.

The girls working at the cash register are probably as slow as can be. We asked a simple question and her response was not an answer. The food alone isn’t bad but the crab ragoons have a weird taste. The spring roll was probably greasier than Whataburger, that goes for the noodles too.

In this small town, I guess there’s not much to expect but gracious this was a mess today. I personally wouldn’t recommend, but hey – every place deserves a shot.

Getting take out here for a few years. Food is good, rolls are good also. They have mozzarella corn dogs, definitely recommend trying if you like to try new things. Food is plenty. Customer service is good. One thing I would recommend is not putting cold items in same bag with hot items.

We love their food. But when you call twice to ask if they’re going to be open on Christmas Eve because that’s what you plan for Christmas Eve dinner. And they tell you twice they’re going to be open and then you show up to put their order in and they’re closed you don’t care about your customers that’s what it shows.

This restaurant is by far the best restaurant I’ve been to! Great food GREAT service. Food was very FRESH and decent size! The sushi is great and the lovely waiters are amazing! They finished serving us after hours without complaints. Very cozy and family like environment!

I almost busted my rear, the floor felt so greasy. I’m not kidding. I sit down, get my food, and a man and his child come in, and he slipped and fell so hard. Like he stepped on a banana peel. Staff completely ignored it even though they were watching this happen. He could barely get off the floor without slipping back down. No discount offered for his food and when he asked for one because he fell, who I assume was the manager at the register (who witnessed his fall) says “oh oh you fell -okay”. The wet floor sign is just a bandaid. Someone could seriously injure themselves and I know that man will feel it tomorrow. I hope he’s okay

I absolutely love eating the food from here. Osaka is a small restaurant located in a strip mall, there isn’t much to the outside nor inside but it is clean and has plenty of seating for the amount of people that choose to dine-in. Don’t be fooled by its lackluster appearance.

Most orders are takeout, and I’d say that’s what they do best. Even if you order-in, you’ll still receive your food in a to-go bag and boxes. I’ve dined-in, gotten takeout, and gotten delivery. Every time regardless of method the food has been hot, fresh, and delicious. My go-to orders are the teriyaki chicken and rice, and any of the special or sushi rolls (to list a few suggestions: godzilla, double crab roll, volcano roll, snow crab roll, pink lady). Though it can get pricey, you get a pretty great deal of food for your money. It definitely does not disappoint, especially for the area. The staff are friendly and grateful for tips. This is definitely on my list of my favorite restaurants in Thomaston.

Food was ok but would not recommend.
Service was lacking.
You order at a counter as if you’re at the mall. I told them I was dining in, but 5 minutes later they brought my order to thr table to me in a to-go bag.
The staff at the front seemed occupied with leaving to a side table for a phone charger or to the back of the kitchen.
The atmosphere is lacking as well. It is located in a stip mall that needs renovation. On arrival, I thought the restaurant was vacated from the outside, like out of business. I was surprised when the door opened! The air is smoke filled from the hibachi grill cooking, you’re going to smell like it when you leave. The interior is clean but vacant.
I think they are geared towards the to-go crowd and take outs. In fact, while I was there for 15 minutes, they had 6 delivery orders.
The food was ok, not good. I’m not going back. If I had to eat the food from there, I would order it delivered or take out, but would not recommend dining in.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this was!! I had an Osaka sushi roll, miso soup, and pork dumplings and it was all very very good!! My 12 year old, who is fairly picky, enjoyed the chicken and rice bowl. Fast service also!!

Good was prepared on time. We do pickup and eat at home. Order on their Web app. There is a service fee for doing that. They also ask for tip, however i do not tip for service that is not table service. This should be added into food prep. They don’t have to ring it up, or deliver to car. So no tip.
