Update: In the few weeks I was in town I came a few times to Ida’s and the staff was always friendly and food excellent. Super fresh pasta thats just so light and delicious.

The atmosphere at Ida’s during dinner time was quite cozy and soothing. All of their pasta is made daily in their kitchen. I ordered their linguine with homemade meatballs and it was delicious. The meatballs were spiced well and I could taste the freshness in their pasta. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for. The portions for their main pasta dishes are plentiful. The service was attentive and friendly!
They have dinner specials on their chalkboard above the bar but since everything is homemade, they only have a limited amount. So if the ingredients run out for the evening, then their specials are no longer available. I would recommend Ida’s for a special occasion or a date night!
2024 Update: Returned 7 years later and everything is still phenomenal! I tried the scallops and linguine marsala this time around. Delicious!

Olivia is an outstanding bartender at Ida’s. She is upbeat, attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. Her welcoming personality and the great energy she brings to the bar make every visit enjoyable. She pays attention to every detail, makes fantastic recommendations, and always makes you feel like a valued guest.

Quick trip to Rhode Island and found this gem! Hands down the BEST Italian food I’ve ever had (hopefully my Italian in laws dont see this post lol)! So good we went there both nights we were in the area. Wonderful service, nicely decorated, huge portions and do leave room for dessert. I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. Go there you won’t be disappointed!!
