We have never eaten here before. It is a beautiful older building, and appear to be relatively clean.
We were quickly greeted and seated. Through our dining experience, it appeared as though the man who seated us also waited on us, and also was the bartender. I don’t know if he was also the cook. We began to think that he was a one-man show doing it all. We could be wrong, though.
My wife and I both had the three mini crab cakes which were well prepared and had a little bit of spice to them.
The complimentary bread was very good as well. My wife had the broiled stuffed haddock with a side of sauteed zucchini and squash which she said was well prepared but had an average taste.
I had the New York strip steak, medium with mashed potatoes and the sauteed zucchini and squash. The saute zucchini and squash was well prepared and beautifully flavored. My steak was well prepared, but was just average in flavor as it did not appear to be seasoned.
Both dinners came with a side salad with garden greens. It was a very good salad.
Because it appeared that there was only one person doing most of the work, if not all, the service was a little slow.
I think it was a little pricey before what we got and for the amount of food that we had received.

We went to Alberdeen Inn on Mother’s Day and we had a very nice experience. Everyone loved their meals, appetizers were excellent, and desserts were delicious. The staff and waiter were very nice and extremely attentive to all of our needs and wants. The atmosphere is relaxing and has lots of charm. We recommend Alberdeen Inn and we look forward to returning again!

Delicious shrimp and grits appetizer. Enough for two people to share. Entree’s were also very good. Stuffed flounder and a tuna dish that was the special that night.
