This is an amazing place to enjoy a mouth watering classic
FOOD> I had the special all the way with water and coleslaw. It was legendary!!!! The dog was hot fresh now and the chili was moist and tasty with just the right spice and the slaw was sweet and offset the whole thing. Note: they have Gold Peak tea YUMMY (I had a bottled Aquafina) and I heard something about homemade cake for dessert – so save room and DEFINITELY ASK! I will next time

SERVICE> Jean is so friendly and kind. I think she hung the moon. Everyone was so thoughtful and they made me feel like I was family.
She got my complicated order just right (doesn’t everybody like their dog just a certain way?) and she’s been there since they opened. I bet people go eat lunch there just to get loved on by her kind spirit.
LOCATION> Great location on Mills (near Augusta Rd- or from Easley, turn Left off 385) right downtown just over the bridge from the heart of the city past the new fancy court house on the same side in a shopping center with PLENTY of parking – some spots for special needs right up by the door
ATMOSPHERE> lots of REALLY interesting memorabilia on the walls from the good days gone by honoring those that have served and some upstanding individuals from the Upstate. Casual diner feel. Bring the whole family, the kids, your friends, or a group, all are made to feel welcome here. GREAT spot for a weekend lunch if you work downtown and don’t want to wait!!!

Yall ever go to a place & instantly feel the love & kindness there? Because I absolutely did here. One of the most genuinely sweet experiences I’ve ever had was with everyone working here. My 1st time there and they all had the patience of saints.

Oh what a treat this was today. Never been to this location but mom had a eye appointment so we stopped in afterwards for a quick bite. The staff were super friendly and made us feel like they were really glad to see us. The place was clean and the food was served hot and fresh. Nothing better than a steamed bun. On another note these dogs are done the old southern way so if you’re looking for something grilled with a lot of fancy toppings, then you might want to change your expectations but if you want a quick bite to eat that was fixed the way they were 50 years ago then you will love these!

The food when compared to other ‘Skins’location was consistent, hot and ftesh. The person at the register was cordial, nonchalant, on her phone, could careless. Overall okay. I would go back.

Horrible hot dogs. They look and taste like Oscar Meyer hot dogs in a steamed bun. These should be $1 each, not $2.80.
Also got their “homemade” chocolate pound cake. Dry and nasty.

If you are visiting or you’re new to the area, come here. Great hot dogs and I can’t say that I’ve ever received an order of food as swiftly.

We stopped for lunch and had an awesome experience! Before even making it inside we were treated so well when someone was up and grabbing the door for us since my husband and I were each carrying one of our little ones- that’s above and beyond service! After placing our orders, one of the kitchen employees heard that we’d ordered a plain hot dog and asked if it was for our young child and whether we’d like it sliced for them: this is such a small detail, but the fact that she took notice of our family and situation really showed their level of care and her kindness. We really appreciated this!! The cashier was super sweet and talked to our child while we waited. Our picky eater LOVED his hot dog so much we didn’t even give him any ketchup before he’d eaten it all! We really enjoyed ours as well! Truly excellent service and a great stop for lunch! We can’t wait to come back, especially for the wonderful people they have working here. Thank you so much!
