Lillie’s Asian Cuisine was a mixed experience. The lo mein noodles stood out with a nice sweet and savory flavor, which I really enjoyed. Some parts of the meal were solid, while others didn’t quite stand out enough to make it a higher rating. Overall, it’s decent and worth trying, but there’s room for improvement. Don’t expect friendly staff.

We ordered food and take it home all the way from lake Charles to Houston , but then I found out bunch of my order was wrong and missing. I got three pho without noodles, my Mongolian beef is not even one third of the box, shaggy dog was missing from my order as well! That’s is not the first time I got missing items. So I decided to call the restaurant and let them know, wow! The manager was surprise that it was not the first time and I didn’t check my order before I leave! I said so that’s my false? He said yah, since I know it always happen why I didn’t check before I leave, then he just hanged up! Wow! Never had such kind of service! We never got good service to dine in there as well! A waitress spill the water on the table and didn’t even say sorry and act like we made that happen, I just can’t understand how golden nugget accept this kind of restaurant exist in their property to ruin all the guests experience

The prices are outrageous for the quality of food. My friend asked for fried rice and they gave her steamed rice and no flavor just SALT. Then the pad Thai had zero flavor even after I put a container of chili oil in my bowl. The shrimp had a very old taste to them as well as the noodles themselves. The noodles were not a good a consistency. Then the orange chicken gave frozen dinner to be specific the pf changs one you get at WALMART. You will do better going to Asia at Lauberge.

Every time I order take out, it takes so long. First they tell me it’ll take 20 minutes. I come back in 20 minutes & they say 5 more minutes. I come back in 10 minutes & they say 10-15 more minutes. I’ve witnessed other ppl getting upset about their orders. Typically it takes about 45 min & there’s a $2.50 up charge. This last time I was told 15-20 min. I came back in 17 minutes & the food was cold. Not even slightly warm. Some of the employees are rude. I called to see about placing a to go order (which they do not do) & was hung up on. The Mongolian beef was $22 & dumplings $15. Attached are pictures of the portions that, in my opinion, are not worth the price.

Nice atmosphere. Service was good at bar. Food was disappointing. I eat a lot of sushi/Asian. I had the potstickers and the sex on the beach roll. The potstickers were fine, but not great, I’m used to a hoisin sauce with it and I think they just gave me a bitter soy. The roll honestly tasted like it was made at a grocery store sushi stand and put in refrigerator to sell at a later date. After five pieces, I decided it wasn’t worth eating.

My family had a wonderful time at Lillie’s Lake Charles golden nugget . We were seated quickly and met with a truly outstanding waitress Emily. She answered all of my questions& She recommended the pad Thai , which was so delicious and full of flavor. Great food, & AMAZING SERVICE EMILY!!! Service was good, but the food was a little disappointing. The noodle soups were super bland, and the stir fry dish was overly salty.

Twice in 1 month so I have them two chances. Second time with my family and I was embarrassed. Their orange chicken was again tough and inedible. My kung po chicken was kung nothing. The most bland, unappetizing meal. For what they charge go somewhere else in Lake Charles. I would like my money back for the kung po and that roll I still have in my fridge to throw away. Y’all should be ashamed selling that no flavor food at high prices. See the pic. No sauce. Dry dry dry.

Not sure who runs this place but not only do they need to revisit their menu but they also need to retrain their staff. Our waitress came around only to bring us food and we waited 15 minutes just to get our check. The hot and sour soup tasted like it was just sour Worcester and corn flour. Crab rangoons had no crab in them. When I came up to the hostess to finally try to get my check, all of the staff standing around her and herself brushed it off and gave me a sarcastic apology. If you’re ever at the nugget, go to Laundry’s and ask for Gabe. Great service and food.
So disappointed with Lillies today. You’re one of the only restaurants open late, get it together.
