First time trying Saggios, put a phone order in for a large pepperoni pizza well done, gal on the phone said it’ll be ready in 20 mins, got there 30 mins later, was told it wasn’t ready yet, sat there 30 more mins for 1 lrg pepperoni, gal at front desk threw in a free cheesecake slice for the inconvenience which was much appreciated, gal forgot to give me a fork and napkins though, pizza was good had great flavor cheese was stringy and crust was well done as asked, but price for large pepperoni was steep! 30 bucks for a pepperoni pizza is wild! I’d stop by once and a blue moon

I loved eating at this kitchy little Albuquerque eatery! On the recommendation of a local friend I got a pepperoni and green chili pizza that hit the spot. The cheesecake was a delicious follow-up to that wonderful pizza.
The shop it’s self is fun to visit, full of weird and wonderful decor.

Absolutely delicious! Food came out relatively quickly and was cooked to perfection. Really good pizza and pannini sandwich. Great salads and best cannabis! Really great service and the restaurant was clean.

Being in the mood for spaghetti I thought I would give Saggios a try. At first glance I fell in love with the atmosphere, great murals, great music, fun vibe. That was quickly over when I placed my order. I was made to feel like I was bothering the tall young man who took my order. He crossed over and started talking to the customer next to me. There were issues with the tap credit card.
I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce instead of meatballs. My order came with meatballs that were chopped up. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Not impressed. It was hard to find a clean table. I asked for a spoon and the young lady pointed to plastic wear to go with my metal fork. I thought that was odd.
I don’t see myself returning.

First time eating Here and it was amazing! Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! Very nicely decorated and feels very comfortable and welcoming. My wife had a sandwich and was just as good. Definitely top 3 placed to eat in albuquerque.

This place was much different when I was growing up. The vibe is not the same. The food is ok now, a bit overpriced for a college campus area restauraunt. They no longer make the deserts, the sauce is too sharp and the pizza dough is lacking something. Its an order at the counter go fetch your food on a cafiteria tray- for the same price as a higher quality sit down authentic italian place. Convienience and ample seeting is about all it has going for them these days, oh and maybe a beer and slice special. I dunno. Honestly, there are better choices 10 minutes in any direction. Hit or miss.

You can never go wrong with Saggio’s!!! My hubbie and I split the meat calzone with mushrooms & onions and of course a couple beers. Flippin delicious!!! The jalapeños & ranch on the side were just for me, and so yummo with that amazing calzone! We seriously love everything!!!

You walk in and the first thing that pops out at you is the peculiar decor. There’s faux columns from Greek mythology, random greenery and a fountain (almost jungle-like), and random celebrity statues. Aside from the decor, the wait was literally 30 minutes for a 14” pizza. Not to mention it was made incorrectly. Requested the thin crust, ended up with the pan crust. Almost brought up the issue to staff but I knew it’d be another long wait, so I refrained.
The amount of grease on the pizza was excessive. I mean more than my forehead on a hot day.. in Egypt excessive. Aside from having to soak the grease with a napkin, the pizza itself was tasteful.. however the prices are a little steep. EACH topping is $1.75- $3.75 extra depending on the size.
Overall, decent food but not worth the wait or the myocardial infarction.

So first of all the prices are ridiculous my parents ordered a pizza with 5 to 6 toppings & the price went up to over 40 dollars ! Yes , 40 dollars for 1 pizza !! The food doesn’t taste that good the baked ziti was very dry & it took a long time for the food to get prepared. We will never come back

UPDATE:
Ok changing this to 3 stars instead of 2 because the Calzone tasted good, as did the meatballs and sauce. However when I went to pick up my to-go box I said “thank you”, and I heard someone say “For What?” and I said “for the calzone.” No to-go silverware was provided for it, and at this point I was in a rush to get to work.
Overall SUPER weird experience and will not be back.
Haven’t tried my food yet but popped in on my lunch break and ordered one calzone. Been waiting forever. Won’t be able to eat it now will have to take it back to work. Hostess was rude and when I asked if the 3% service fee was applied to debit cards too (I didn’t see the sign in time before giving her my debit card) she didn’t answer my question with yes or no and proceeded to just restate my total price she had run on my card. Didn’t offer me a receipt or a cup of water while I wait. Not very hospitable.
