No complaints about the food, but can definitely echo some of the concerns about staff. The woman who took my order was not friendly at all and seemed genuinely annoyed that she was working at all – not a great start to the client relationship.

You wouldn’t think it but this place has the best cheeseburgers in Paso Robles! I’m not kidding… hand patted 100% beef burgers! My wife says they are the best! Juicy… large… perfect burger!

But they are charging sit down restaurant prices for a more fast food style environment. You walk up and place your order at the counter, prepay then sit down, Refill your own drinks etc. they also charged extra for chips and salsa. Family of 4, 2 adults entrees and 2 kids meals, and chips, just water to drink and it was $65!

Chicken enchiladas, rice and beans were very good, fresh tasting ingredients. Had to try a chicken taco to make the eating event complete. Papi’s is the real deal in Paso Robles

Nothing fancy here, a modest Mexican cafe, simple decor, a few tv’s on the wall, order your food at the counter. I had the chili verde entree, comes with beans, rice, and a few tortillas. Basic but the food is good, portions are generous. For what it is I have no complaints, will probably go again & try the breakfast.

We used to live in Paso Robles and Papi’s was our go-to place for Mexican food every week. Sunday? Time for Papi’s! We came through town on a visit this weekend a had lunch and we were not disappointed. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious! Don’t miss the Asada Fries or the Carnitas plate. Both are uhhhhhh-maze-inggggg. A couple beers and I didn’t have to eat again for a long time. Expect to have a wait, they are popular and they cook everything to order so it might not be super fast but it is guaranteed to be super GOOD!
