This panaderia has a very old-fashioned vibe — not necessarily in a charming way. The interior feels a bit dark and uninviting, though they do have some outdoor seating which helps. They serve lunch too, mostly milanesa sandwiches and other bread-based things. Honestly, it didn’t do it for me — the food and atmosphere felt a bit tired. But I can see why locals might like it — it’s convenient, especially if you’re nearby and need a quick bite.

Excellent experience in San Bernandino Paraguay, after visiting the Blue lake of Ipakarai you must stop here. Traditional deserts, confitures and great coffee. Great place for a quick bite with the family right in front of the Casa Buttner a cultural colonial house, must visit a see some of the nature wonders of Paraguay. This is a summer place that you will never forget. Totally awsome , i recomend if you come to paraguay just 44 km from the capitol Asuncion. You wont regret it.

There on a Sunday, service was probably the slowest I have experienced in Paraguay. Food was mediocre at best. Noquis were flavorless. Annoying ring every time from the kitchen. Decor two thumbs down. Horrible dinning experience, I would not recommend it.

If you are ever around, you MUST have at least one of the famous bollos.
The airy texture is delightful, you can’t tell it’s deep fried at all.
