This is the sushi bar equivalent of the bar Cheers from the TV show. I was there for lunch a couple of times last week abd everyone knew each other. Chef Roy was very personable and the sashimi was superb. Today is a major Superbowl event in keeping with the locals atmosphere of this excellent Japanese resteraunt.

Went to Honshu for Sushi. Ordered a couple of rolls and some Nigiri Sushi.
Service was fine but frankly, I would not choose this spot for Sushi. The fish was not good and the prices were high enough that I would expect fresh clean Sushi. We sampled a few pieces of the roll and a couple pieces of the Nigiri but most of it was still on the table when we left. Servers were polite and quick but for me Sushi is all about the fish.

Came here upon recommendation of some redditors. Hate to say it, they’re wrong this time around. I ordered Hot Night roll, crispy rice spicy tuna and salmon skin cut roll; all of them were bland. The sushi rice had no vinegar whatsoever and the sauce/seasoning were barely existent. Service was quick and attentive and the dining area was clean and spacious, but yea, better go some place else like Hirosa or Namisen Sushi if you want good, flavorful food but less costly.

Such a wonderful experience. You HAVE to try the house specials scattered about behind the chefs. The Sunny Side Up Sushi is absolutely exquisite. And the quality of the Black Snapper I tried was so amazing I became one with the fish temporarily. This might be my new sushi spot.

“It was pretty good, can’t lie.”
Very satisfied with my experience. Could not figure out how to find the prices for some of the stuff, but I think that’s a me problem. Sushi was pretty good, they had other options there as well if you want something else. Plenty of parking, lovely atmosphere, staff was 10/10, very kind. Would recommend to other people. Food was pretty good, I was satisfied and full from it. I ate the whole thing of Wasabi in one bite, though, it wasn’t very spicy.

Went here because of the glowing reviews. No hyperbole at all. This place, as the kids say, slaps. It’s pricey because you want the pricey stuff. We’re going here again and again for sure. My wife is looking forward to it, my wallet is not.

Food was ok, it seems American sushi place is pretty much the same everywhere. Service was ok albeit slow during lunch time when we were here. Prices though are high for my taste

Update: came back 2nd time with coworkers, service is still slow, edamame with spicy garlic is yum

Food was good, yellowtail collar was big and very good tasting. I took a chunk of meat home and we made some street tacos with the leftover meat! The spicy edamame was good too. I think my girlfriend had the special black bass? sushi, she liked it more than her favorite halibut!
