Stopped by this location to grab lunch, and something for dinner to take home later. I ordered the Double Western Smash Burger and Fries. The burger was cooked just right, with plenty of flavor, and the fries were crispy and hot also. To go I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. This dish was Amazing, the peppers, mushrooms, onions, and shrimp gave this entrée a 10/10. The service at the bar was great, along with the atmosphere.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. Our waitress was very good at her job. While ordering I asked for the chicken Alfredo and she quickly told me that wasn’t a good option. That all the staff and other customer didn’t like it. Other than that the food was great! The bar area and the dining area are sectioned off.

Never been here before went 1/29 after work less than 10 people in the whole place. Service was nothing to write home about Nothing spectacular mediocre at best. Food was ridiculous. He got fish and chips that was 16 dollars, less than a hand full of fries that were way to salty and the smallest pieces of cod that were edible at best. I had the pick 2 that wasnt much better. Drinks were good but with so many options to dine in winston salem it should be better especially for 80 dollars, hence why they were so slow. Do better!One and done!

I had an absolutely fantastic evening at Ale House, and it’s all thanks to our server, Espie! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her recommendations from the menu were spot-on—she suggested the craft beer flight and the loaded nachos, which were both incredible. I’ve came here a couple of times and always had a great experience. This time I was quite disappointed. The hostess was amazing! Waiter amazing! And the food started off great. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and it was perfect. So was the children’s chicken tenders and the Carolina nachos. Then I ordered the steak frites… and it was the biggest disappointment. I asked for mid-rare. From my experience you cook the steak whole then slice. This was sliced, cooked to death and thrown on the plate like the chef was pissed to have to work. After spending $70 I expect to get quality food and what I asked for. Not a chef that could care less. The second photo is google for reference.

I got the mariners plate. Honestly they have upgraded so much as far as food. I don’t know if they fired all the corportate management or switched vendors but much better! The slaw, tartar sauce, coctail sauce, fries, and shrimp were perfect. I would almost knock this down to the two stars over the fish. Was cook perfect, ordered the old bay seasoned version. The problem is in the fact the dumped a full container on old bay on the fish. It was so crunchy from the sheer amount of seasoning on it that I couldn’t even eat the fish. It’s a real let down because they have improved in so many other areas but when your food is crunchy because of salt and seasoning instead of being fried correctly is a real let down because the fish seemed like it was actually fried well! Just a let down that everything else on the plate was delicious and then you bite into the fish and you have to literally pick the ol bay out of your teeth because they put a whole can on the order.
To be honest if it wasn’t for the sides I would put it as a two because the fish itself was inedible. My wife tried it as well and wouldn’t finish a piece because it was so saltly. There is a difference between seasoning and just dumping a jar on a piece of fish or meat because the cooks can’t taste the difference.
Fun fact: My wife and I came here on our second date over 5 years ago. The old fish and chips was better then even when they weren’t trying as hard.

Espie was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions for me and my wife. It was outstanding customer service that we received from her. Would definitely recommend coming here. And we will definitely be returning here hopefully to get her again as our waitress.
