Veteran and locally owned – In the Fall of 2021, at Florida State University at Panama City Professor Dr. Jamiel Vadell challenged his Entrepreneur students to design a coffee shop for their final. The 5 students loved the idea and created Techspresso. A coffee shop created for students, by students! *** We are a cashless bar *** The goal was to create a calm, safe environment for students to grab coffee, study alone, or in groups. Techspresso is open to the public and everyone is welcome! We conveniently have spaces for students to study in private cubicles, comfortable seating in the main room, and a group room for projects and meetings.

We’re on our Christmas vacation here in Panama City Beach & stopped by Techspresso PCB and had an amazing experience. The owner, Doc, made us feel welcome right away and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. He also shared some great recommendations and let us customize our drinks exactly how we wanted. On top of that, he even let us sample his homemade coquito, which was a really nice touch. I ordered the Blue Hawaiian sparkling energy drink, & my Wife had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shaken espresso. Both were delicious. This place is definitely a go to for us whenever we are in town & will be visiting again before we head back home. If you’re reading this I Highly recommend stopping by!!!!

Absolutely loved our visit to Techpresso! I ordered a cortado, my wife had the Aloha Latte, and we took an authentic Cuban coffee to go — every drink was spot on. The quality and balance of flavors were exceptional, and you can really tell they care about their craft. Cat and Hannah were super friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The atmosphere, service, and coffee all came together perfectly for a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good coffee and great vibes!

A little tricky to find, but worth it once you get there. It’s a cute little shop with a nice vibe. The coffee was good, though it was served a bit too hot to enjoy right away. Overall, a nice spot to stop for a cup if you’re in the area.

8/20/2025: I ordered coffee from here three days in a row. Yesterday, I had the Aloha latte; it was better than the Motherboard Mocha but still not my cup of coffee. I gave it one last shot and just ordered a simpler drink, large iced caramel latte. It still missed the mark. The espresso wasn’t flavorful enough nor was the caramel. To tell you the truth, I like the middle of the road coffee shop Starbucks better. I dropped down the food category down to 2 stars because the lattes consistently did not entertain my taste buds.
8/18/2025: Place is a little hard to find, just had to keep driving until I got to the back of the shopping center. This is a cashless coffee shop and offers Military/Police/EMS discount. I ordered the large [iced] Motherboard Mocha ($5.70) and Cinnamon Swirl bites ($3.50); total was $8.64 which includes 6% FL tax and 1% city tax along with the 3.5% operational cost, which I don’t know what that entails, and discount. ***One big note while eating around Panama City Beach is that a lot of restaurants seem to charge a credit card charge fee. Not sure if the operational cost here is similar to the credit card charge. I feel they tack on that fee for the consumer to pick up the cost.***
I don’t necessarily like the mocha and caramel mixed; the flavors don’t seem to complement each other. I like that the bites were moist but it tasted more like a coffee cake; would’ve tasted a lot better if there were actually cream with it like they do with Cinnabon. Service was slow, about 5-10 minutes before taking order, as there’s only one cashier that was accepting and putting away a delivery. The atmosphere is good. I like the music along with the seating/table/decorations.

Techspresso is so good! Service was quick and the barista was wonderful about offering options when I didn’t know what I wanted. I got a creme brulee latte for myself and a vanilla cold brew for a friend. They were both amazing. I will be going back soon and my friend is happy to hear about their new Lynn Haven location!

Thanks so much to the barista this morning on helping me and my dad pick-out lattes. She was so friendly and welcoming to the coffee shop. We learned they plan to start serving breakfast soon. Additionally, their coffee is wayyy (1000x) better than gas station coffee.
I ordered a unique latte that the barista suggested. I mentioned that I loved the Aloha and strawberry syrups, so she made a Coconut Latte with Strawberry Cold Foam. My dad then ordered the Passion Fruit & Guava Lotus Drink and the Aloha Latte.

Holy smokes this place is neat! And the story of its origin is even neater! We love vacationing in PCB and love visiting local coffee shops wherever we go. Doc was manning the shop so we got to talk to the man himself which was awesome. The coffee was delicious and the vibe was exactly what we love in a coffee shop. Calm, welcoming, and completely unique. If you’re in the area, stop by!
