One of the best falafels around and very vegan friendly. The eggplant is the best topping hands down. Hummus also top notch. Lots of options to top your sandwich or bowl. They have a vegan shwarma that seems to be made w seitan. And many of the baklavas are vegan as well which was surprising. Its a deli so just a few inside tables and some outside as well.
Everything is made fresh and service is friendly

UPDATE 8/8/22: After craving this for a few weeks, I was finally able to make it back here! Parking was hard to find, as always, and my husband had to circle around and wait for me in the back streets while I got our to-go order. I was served by a lady this time, and noticed that the pita orders now only come with 4 toppings (luckily, hummus and sauces don’t count toward this limit). That said, my server was very generous with my portions and I still had a very satisfying and delicious falafel sandwich!

I was told this is where you go to experience what hummus should REALLY taste like, and it did not disappoint.
Very fresh, delicious flavors that taste like they were made by the Middle Eastern grandma and a host of aunties I never had.
Abba’s Hummus isn’t fancy, but every one of their fillings and toppings are full of flavor and on point. It was my first time trying baba ghanoush, and I found it very yummy.
We got shawarma in a pita and in a bowl. However you get it, they let you add toppings from the deli as much as you want/can! The bowl also comes with pita bread on the side, but the main difference is that you can stuff much more of the toppings in a bowl rather than being limited to the insides of your pita pouch. Chris at the front was really patient and kind with me, as I asked him what all the different toppings were. I particularly liked having my pita spread with a bit of the “spicy” red sauce, which wasn’t so hot as much as it was flavorful.
Neither myself nor my husband were able to finish our food in one lunch sitting, so it made for a wonderful second meal later on in the day. What a great value! Plus the food was homey and filling; I can’t wait to be back! Next time I want to try their falafels! 🙂
P.S. They also carry a variety of groceries in the back, if you wanted to get anything from Middle Eastern cookies or juices, to cleaning supplies. No fresh produce, though.

So thrilled to live nearby a kosher deli. Their sandwiches are unparalleled. Stacks on stacks of your fav schmeats on perfect rye. Plus, their salad section with tuna, egg salad, etc makes me very happy on busy weeks!

Nice kosher take out place with plenty of options. The pastrami was very good. They let you choose how much meat you would like in the sandwich (1/3lb or 1/2 lb) and you pay accordingly. There are many salad options to choose from for the hummus bowls.

If you keep kosher, come to San Francisco and don’t find a way to get here, you’ve wasted a food experience for the ages. We loved it so much, we came back a second time! I had hummus bowl with shawarma and lamb-beef kabobs. Simply devine, and ample portions.

I think the food here is fabulous! The pita, hummus, salads and halvah are shoulders above everyone else’s. I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet because the hummus bowl and pitas are so hard to resist. I’ve taken home the frozen pitas and containers of humus from the store, too. They are so delicious they make it very hard to want to waste the calories on the versions possibly more conveniently available everywhere else. I’m just sad they close so early, since I’d love to grab dinner here sometimes but eating before 5:30 usually doesn’t work out for me.

RUN, don’t walk, to this place! Their chicken shawarma is the most delicious and juiciest shawarma I have ever had. I also highly recommend their chocolate babka which is freshly baked and is way more delectable than a store bought one. I also felt like a kid in a candy store when I first walked through their grocery aisle. So much variety and unique-ness in their snacks
