Great Tacos, Some of the best in the area. #19 Lamb Barbacoa were my favorite.

I used to love coming to this place. Came for many years and it was great. The last 5 times that I’ve come or more, I noticed the prices increased, the quality and taste is not great, salsas are bland, al pastor meat is bland and flavorless, and the tacos are small. I’m not sure if they changed cooks or recipes, but please bring back the quality and flavor.

Love this spot for a quick bite and fresh juice! It is a local favorite for friends and family. They make a fine taco and traditional chicharrón. They have a ton of seating and play good music while serving up plenty of salsa and veggies to top your food 🙂 The staff are smiling and helpful! Gracias chef!

What a huge let down. This place was always my go to place for street tacos in this area of MD for years. They have lost their magic touch. Unfortunately, their quality has gone dramatically down. Their worst offense is that the seasoning is off and most of their food was bland. Our food was delivered cold which was another turn off. No one in my group had anything positive to say about the food given the past high praises this spot recieved for making amazing high quality food that was worthy of being a guilty pleasure. Now that each taco roughly costs $4 dollars and after experiencing some of the worst food I’ve had in a while, I can no longer recommend this taco spot. Save yourself from a bad experience and go try one of the other local spots.

The place was super busy and we had to wait half hour to get our order. It’s also hard to get a table but there are tables outside the restaurant. It’s nice and u can enjoy your tacos in a calm environment.
The tacos are great, but they come in two tortilla so it’s a bit much. Just have it with one so that u don’t get full immediately. Also try to eat them quick otherwise they become a little hard. But the taste has plenty of flavor and spice to it. We got the pineapple juice outside, it was very tasty but beware it’s expensive. I would definitely go again. It’s a very nice experience.

This is one of the best taco joints in the DC- Maryland area. I never leave disappointed. Any time I’m in the area, I make sure to visit. After living in Mexico for over 6 years, this place really scratches that itch. It is literally the closest thing that I’ve found to that long-sought-after street taco experience.

The tacos were good and the service was friendly. The price for one taco ($4) was a bit high in my opinion, but it was tasty. Would definitely return if in the area but probably wouldn’t make a special trip.
Gluten-free friendly as the shells were all corn.

Taqueria Plazita is an absolute gem! Their tacos are hands down the best I’ve ever had bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. Whether you’re into carne asada, al pastor, or carnitas, every bite is a masterpiece.
And let’s talk about the torta juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The bread is soft, the fillings are generous, and the combination of flavors is simply unbeatable.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that hits all the right notes, Taqueria Plazita is the place to go. I can’t recommend it enough!

Dry tortillas and the meat had no flavor. This place has definitely gotten downhill. Do not waste your money. If i could give a place 0 stars i would.
