My husband and I recently discovered our new favorite breakfast spot, and after visiting twice, we are truly in love with this little gem!
The restaurant is small, but incredibly cozy, welcoming, and full of charm. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the service is absolutely top-notch—attentive, kind, and just perfect.
Most importantly, the food is always on point! Everything we’ve tried has been fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care.

Portside is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and uniquely crafted. Family owned restaurant and it shows, you can taste the family recipes and the care behind everything they make.
The atmosphere is nautical theme that’s subtle, calming and tasteful – which feels so needed in that area. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in, breathe, and just be.
The staff is amazing in every way. They are friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. There was never a dirty dish sitting on tables or an empty cup left unfilled.
Because of all of that, it felt like the right place to gather for my mom’s celebration of life. We were so grateful they welcomed us in their space. It meant a lot to have such a peaceful, heartfelt space to honor her.

Stopped in on our way back to Miami from Orlando. It wasn’t too far off from the turnpike so that was very convenient. They do close early though so keep that in mind.
I was stuck between ordering the Biscuits + Gravy or the Hogsman Benny. My server Anna, suggested getting my Hogsman Benny on an open-faced biscuit (instead of the English muffin) + adding a side of sausage gravy. I went with her suggestion + I was so grateful that I did. Everything came together beautifully. My only critic would be that the pork belly was a little bit dry.
My husband ordered the chicken + Waffles which he enjoyed even more when he found out they have Jamaicam hot sauce lol. He added a side of pork belly to his meal which we also found to be a bit dry.
Other than that, everything was yummy + Anna was such a sweetheart ❤️

Let me preface this by saying I don’t like breakfast. I have never liked breakfast. I eat it out of necessity. So, I have EXTREMELY HIGH standards for breakfast when eating out and I am COMPLETELY BLOW AWAY!!

If you are looking for an AMAZING breakfast, you HAVE to visit them!

We planned a morning outing at what was perceived to be an incredible cafe, however being that we had our Shih Tzu with us we were immediately told to sit out in the cold rather than be able to enjoy breakfast indoors. The hostess seemed very unenthusiastic to have us and we felt distraught after being rejected service. I wish well being to this business in that they may change their policies.

Portside is the perfect after church brunch location! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the shrimp and grits and my partner had the chicken and waffles. We were both well pleased with how everything tasted. My favorite part – having so many hot sauce options. Most places usually have just tabasco and maybe one other. Not Portside; they had a whole shelf of options! This was our first time there and do plan to visit again!

Giving 5 stars all the way through eventhough they didn’t have what I came to get which was the crab Benny. Our waitress Riley was very attentive and friendly. She suggested other foods that were on the menu and they were all good. Definitely try the French toast casserole.

The blueberry French toast casserole was phenomenal. Not too sweet and almost like a bread pudding. The Loxahatchee Benny was also amazing and is the perfect combo of sausage biscuits and gravy and eggs benny. The waitress was also super kind and helpful. I will be back!
