Nice place, inside and atmosphere are nice. The restaurant was about 1/2 full when we went, so there shouldn’t have been too much of a rush in the kitchen. The cook on the meats came out improper. We ordered medium and the meat was well done, gray all the way through. The free bread starter was delicious though!!

So glad I found this place when looking for a place for a work lunch! I had the scallops with mushroom risotto which was great. My coworkers enjoyed the shrimp & grits, open faced roast beef sandwich, and the burger. The bread for the table was also so good – soft on the inside and crusty on the outside, covered in yummy melted butter. Service and atmosphere were also great. Looking forward to going back to try other dishes!

Bread was delicious as was sweet tea. Red Snapper was over done & I needed a knife to eat it. It did taste great in spite of overlooking. The sauce was wonderful as was the grit cake underneath. Josh, our waiter, was efficient & kept our tea glasses full. The chocolate chip bread pudding was just right.

My husband had triggerfish and I had shrimp, and panned scallop risotto. For desert we had blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The service was great and the food was authenticity incredibly delicious.

We made a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered the Filet (butterflied Med-rare) and the Fettuccine. We also ordered calamari and shrimp as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. The house Chardonnay was also very good. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my first visit to Bistro V. I thought the food and service were both excellent. I had the fried shrimp Po boy with slaw. My wife had the Cobb salad with fried chicken broth of the dishes were very good. I would highly recommend Bistro V.
