No bueno! Got to keep these places in check. I came in for a quick lunch. I know its close to dtown and mainly wedo area( lol, im wedo pero tengo pico de Agila) . The rice was horrible.. i even sent it back and it came back the same, mushy. The potatoes in my caldo de res were not cooked all the way!! Buey!!You have to get the basics right cabron! Frijoles y aroz are a staple in mx food.. there’s more… bathroom had water for soap!! And your employees use this??? QUE?? Finally, parking is on the street, not the best area if you are driving.

Our first time going to this place. We drove to downtown Mckinney for breakfast and found this place open. The staff was very nice and helpful. The salsa was good, a little kick but not too spicy. We had the eggs and Chorizo plate and migas plate. The corn tortillas were very good. We want to go back and try more of the food. We noticed a buffet on Fridays for lunch. We will return.

Food was amazing I worked in kitchens in California and had authentic Mexican food made from scratch and this is as authentic as you can get. The flan was amazing as well. And the heat is just right not too hot that you can’t eat. If you are used to taco bell and American Mexican try this place this is what authentic Mexican food is supposed to taste like. Awesome

It’s authentic Mexican food. I was amazed at the prices, they are extremely reasonable. The servings are large and I was able to make another meal out of the leftovers. The salsas nice and spicy.
The drinks are large. This has a little bit of a dive look that is a hidden treasure. The tamales are worth trying. They make them fresh there. There’s live music. I’m not sure of the nights but for sure on Fridays.

Very nice place. They had live music on the Friday night that we went. The food and drinks were every good and at a reasonable price. Only negative was our waitress could have been more personable, but her service was good. Recommend.
Update. This time, service was great, food was even better. Wish they would remodel. Place is rather run down, bathrooms need it as well. Definitely recommend

Delicious! Coming here was a treat! My wife and I got the Chile Relleno w/ Cheese and Chicken Enchiladas. Do yourself a favor and dump the salsa from the chips (you can ask for some more) on your entree for some more authentic flavor. Service was great and friendly too right around lunch time.

We were delighted to find this sweet little spot! After experiencing Friday’s lunch buffet today, the only thing my family regrets is not having found it sooner! For anyone who hasn’t been here, please keep in mind that this is regional Mexican food, not Tex-Mex, not Cali-Mex. Regardless, we’re excited to have found a local family-owned establishment that caters to our families dietary peculiarities WITH AN AMAZING BUFFET! It will truly be our pleasure to return!

We stopped by El Juarez Mexican Restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was about half full. A hostess took us to our table in the side room where other customers were being waited on. But no one came to our table to bring water, silverware, chips, salsa, or anything. We just sat there for like 15-20 minutes as servers were moving by our table and around the restaurant.
We finally got up and walked out and told the guy sitting at the cash register that we are leaving because no one came to wait on us. He looked surprised and looked around like he was trying to find who was suppose to be our server but he never apologized or even asked us to please wait. He just watched us walk out. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait that long or to have to walk out like that.
There are better options so we walked a short distance down the street to Local Yocal BBQ joint and had a great meal with way better atmosphere, great service and the food was exceptional! Will post that full review next.

DO NOT EAT HERE! my food took a long time to come out i was on taco #4 and i found a hair in my food embedded into the taco meat im not sure if i ate any of the hair but i’m disgusted my brother ordered 3 chicken flautas as he was halfway done through the second one he took a bite of something hard and it was a toothpick he assumed it was from holding the chicken in place and let it slide up until he bit into the next one and found an even bigger toothpick my boyfriend ordered carne asada and everything was great until where parts of the meat felt very rubbery and stiff we do not recommend going to this establishment
