Awful! I’m a Subway regular. But this store/location ruined it for me. When I order the meals the portion is ok. But when I order my rewards through the App the portion is heavily reduced. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and there was no meat at all. And, it tasted like tuna. Don’t ever go to this location. I will never set foot in a Subway ever again. Shame on you Subway.

I recently had a great experience at Subway. The portions were generous, and the fresh ingredients made the meal really filling. Hello friends, while visiting Newark NJ I was hungry and wanted to taste a turkey sub, the location is of Central st and is at the corner university and central. Pretty okay location. Clean inside, majority of the soft drinks were out of service and the subways staffs were not friendly. Would I visit again? Maybe.

I always give places a second and third chance but this is it. This subway always gives incorrect orders and substitutes without saying anything. I ordered a Philly cheesestake and they added lettuce and tomato. Didn’t add cheeese and used the wrong sauce. Last time they did not give Italian herb and cheese bread for 2 subs and swapped for a different bread. This is really not good service. You don’t realize something is off till you get home. This time I even checked the bread at the restaurant but didn’t think to open up the sandwiches and look at the toppings. See photos.

They do not properly honor subways promotions. Depending on the employee, They have a greedy mentality. Asked for two sandwiches on a 6.99 promotion there was barely any meat at all. Some employees have no manners and seem very annoyed to have to serve you. Understandable that the place next door has a lot more costumers than they do nowadays. (Update) Months later, i decided maybe i was harsh or wrong, nah, it is worse. This Subway used to be good. The cherry on top of the cake, the owner sees reviews as he has commented on some, clearly the attitude of the employees comes all the way from the top. Be thankful for the poor young students that don’t yet know what a good food service is. Skims on the food to pay his employees that do nothing but sit in a corner and oh the annoyance of having to deal with any costumers. After so many years as a costumer, I’d rather go hungry.

Avoid if you can. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated as badly as a customer as at this Subway. I placed an order on the Subway app for pickup but when I arrived the 2 people working there ignored me completely. The order wasn’t ready but instead of communicating with me what happened they just ignored me. I showed them my order from the app multiple times. Every new person that walked in was taken care of and I just kept waiting.
They will also skimp on the sandwiches if your order is from the app.
