The restaurant is clean and I cannot believe how much of a great price they offer per person. They have salads, desserts, entrees, and their steak is my fave. Definitely a bang for your buck. Their staff is attentive and makes sure you are well throughout your dining experience. The waistresses checks on you constantly if you need anything which I love cause I was a bit thirsty that day and kept needing a refill of their delicious lemonade.

Golden Corral Thanksgiving traditional meal was fabulous! My friends, our family decided to eat-out for Thanksgiving this year,it turned out to be a good choice. The Staff was very courteous, areas were nice & clean. Definitely patience was required 100%, extremely long line,all the way outside…..Staff ingenuity was excellent! Walkie Talkies were used & the coordination was to be admired.

Shoutout to Chris at Golden Corral in Smithfield! Who was working Saturday Feb 7th at 9 AM.
Chris was hands-down one of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere. He was taking care of multiple tables at once( with large groups) and never stopped moving. Yet somehow still managed to be incredibly kind, attentive, and on top of everything. He paid attention to every detail, checked in at the perfect times, and made the whole experience so much better.
Golden Corral is lucky to have him. If you go, ask for Chris!

Had dinner at Golden Corral tonight the food wasn’t bad. But the service we got from Tara was fantastic. I feel like the servers here are underrated and underappreciated. Especially this one she was working her butt off with everything. Checking us a ton of times even though it was busy. She helped bring out dishes, sweep floors,clean glass on the buffet… as someone that has been a manager in the restaurant business for years I just think she needs to be recognized

Service was great. Food basically is like you’re eating Thanksgiving here every day. They have the option of face masks. Also of gloves to touch tongs with. The food would be described as comfort food.
Nothing wrong with that it gives you nostalgia.
When I called to see if it was still serving lunch time the person handling the phone call was not customer service oriented. Very rude when I asked a question.
Might have been stressed?
Not many cars parked which I think I caught them in a slow time.
Would I come again? Yes but maybe when I want to feel like I want to fest in that nostalgic feeling.
I brought my friends over and basically for around $40.00 we got stuffed for three people (includes me) and includes drinks.

Food was fresh and always available at this location. Taste wise, it was okay. We stopped for gas at the Sheetz next to this Golden Corral and wife and kids wanted to go there. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Hey ya’ll,
I went to this particular Golden Coral after going to church with my family on Sunday. It was extremely packed & the line to get in was about out the door. When I got into the building, I noticed it was an older model and not upgraded like some of the other Golden Coral’s I’ve been in. I have a 14 month old daughter, so I needed a high chair, & this is where my problem came in. After finding the stack of high chairs one by one, I looked over every single one, and they were completely & utterly disgusting! Filthy more like it. I know babies/toddlers are messy, but to me, that is all the more reason to pay the high chairs special attention. I tried to pick the cleanest one & rolled it to my table, a waitress walked by & I asked her to clean it for me & ya’ll she took her rag & slapped it across it twice & was done, & im thinking that’s EXACTLY why they look the way they do!! Our waiter finally made it to the table. His name was Brian & he took it upon himself to look down and see the chair & before I could even ask him, he tried his best to clean it & i was very appreciative. But all the years of not cleaning it, it still looked horrible, so I just set my daughter on my lap & we ate. But back to Brian, he was an amazing waiter. Our plates never piled up, our drinks remained full & he was very polite, courteous & friendly! Ya’ll look how nasty these high chairs are…

Tasty food ! Great salad bar. Their cake and cookie section absolutely wonderful! carrot cake is so delicious. The store needs a little bit updating and some changes on the restrooms.
