Where do I begin? The awesome, friendly, welcoming server, amazing view, chilled out and comfortable atmosphere or the absolutely delectable food? Our server was superb. She was professional, quick to seat us and very nice. We sat outside with our 2 dogs with the best view of the marina and sunset. Ordered the Chesapeake Boil, fried oysters and Dockside Scampi and every single bite was just perfect. Everything was super tasty, fresh and just amazing. Would totally sail here from anywhere in the Chesapeake for the food, service and atmosphere!

We traveled down last week, and this was one of our stops… twice. On our second trip, the waitress remembered to bring our son some garnishes off of the drinks so he would feel special. There was a line out of the door, and it was sooooo hot. We noticed the owner giving out free drinks to the people waiting outside and to me, that was top notch and shows he cares about his customers more than just making a buck. Everything we had on our two visits was excellent, the BEST oysters and drinks. Both our waitress were so nice, and working their tales off. Probably the best seafood we have had in a long time, with very reasonable prices and even better atmosphere. Definitely will be back, and so glad we discovered this place!

The food was mouthwatering good and the beer selection was on point. The even make their own black bean burger. Try their smash burgers, they’re juicy. The fries and onion rings are piping hot when I got them.
Their low boils are made one at a time so you can ask to have the andouille removed.
The views are stunning, but you may get lost trying to get their. Don’t give up, it’s worth the drive. When we got there, they already had a 1 hr waiting list. Yeah it’s that good.

Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. The server was very friendly and attentive; the crab puppies are great. I take 2 stars off for any restaurant that charges extra for credit cards. Businesses benefit from accepting cards though higher tabs, simplified finances, and error-free change.

I’ve heard of this place and we wanted to try it.. so one day when the weather was clear we just went. It’s an interesting spot on the water surrounded by Sailboats .. the help was plentiful though the food took a bit of time. We shared the crab dip which came with pita bread.. we both felt it needed more crab and a different bread, maybe something toasted? The Cajun pasta was a good sized portion, but it needed more shrimp n sausage ..something needs tweaking ..
I’m sure you have to go a few times to find your fav dishes. The crab version of Hush puppies was popular too… so next time on that one..
The place isn’t cheap but it was active and locals seemed to really enjoy it.

Demoted to from 2 to 1 star for the OWNERS rude response to my review. We eat out a lot and are local. Owners response is a great example of his lack of professionalism and treatment of customers. No wonder the staff is struggling……My review stands unchanged!
Mediocre food with poor service. We don’t blame the server, I blame management that we never once saw help bus a table or take an order.
Arrived just before 1 pm, and sat outside. Nice view. Waited 25 min before our server came. I actually had gotten up and went inside to make sure we weren’t forgotten after about 15 minutes. Ordered an app and 2 drinks. Took another 10 min for drinks. Our appetizer never arrived, and we did remind the server once that we ordered one.
I had the buffalo chicken sandwhich. Bf had the cheeseburger which was the size of a mcdonalds patty. Never could get a knife to cut my sandwich , i did ask. Seasoned fries are plain fries w seasoned salt and were not even hot. Very disappointing meal all together.
Has a nice view with shaded tables.
It wasn’t crazy busy and several open (and many dirty that sat dirty the entire 2 hours we were there) so not sure why it took 2 hours to get 2 sandwiches and could barely get refills.
Bill was $48 and we tipped $10. management needs to be more proactive in helping or training staff in my opinion.
We do not plan on ever returning, was that disappointing overall. Our waitress did take the app off (never received), the margarita off (didn’t taste good) so that was appreciated.

On a warm summer evening plan to arrive early to get a shady table outdoors on the deck facing the water. We got there at 4:30 and as the afternoon grew a tiny bit windy, they took down the sun umbrellas to avoid them blowing down. Good thing there were a few tables in the shade still available and we arrived! We snagged one and enjoyed a cocktail, beer and oysters without sweating in the sun. The local oysters were good at $2 a piece. My main course of shrimp and grits w/ andouille was comfort in a bowl while my husband’s duo of crab cakes were full of lumpy pieces of crab. His side of onion rings were crispy and a perfect accompaniment. We ended with a brownie a la mode – the brownie was warm and oozie – yum – but the vanilla ice cream was very meh. All in all I’d come back again – curious about the clam chowder and steamed clams.

The wait staff here is awesome, super friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is great – a seafood joint that is casual but can be fancy if you want to celebrate a special occasion. The food was really good! We’re here on vacation and wanted seafood. Our VRBO host recommended this place. It’s close, and we saw it advertised. We chose to ignore the small handful of negative reviews and got really hungry reading the overwhelming number of good reviews. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed our drinks with the crab puppies. Then I had 1/2 dozen raw oysters and 1/2 dozen steamed oysters with coleslaw, which was nice and simple. My husband had the 2 crabcake dinner with coleslaw and big onion rings. We left very full and satisfied, taking home some of the onion rings and crab puppies for later. We recommend this place, planning a return trip before we leave.
