I had their weekend specials: vermicelli platter with tofu and pork while my boyfriend had fried rice with chicken leg. We both enjoyed our dishes very much!! Hefty portion for the price you paid. Kudos to the fresh logan tea as well! Quite refreshing
Came in on a Sunday, the restaurant’s capacity seems to be around 16-20 pp max, so if you have a big group, definitely call them ahead of time. We got seats right away, while the restaurant was fully packed, our food came within 20 mins after the others.
The only thing I think they can improve on would be service. There are only 2 servers/barista for the whole restaurant. So the only time we managed to see them was when the food came out and paid the bill.
Overall, I am quite happy with the taste they offer. Will come back next time to try other dishes!
We highly recommend the beef pho, grilled vermicelli bowls, and the sandwiches they’re all amazing.
It’s our go to spot for a quick and satisfying lunch, especially as a mid-week treat after work.
My second visit for lunch was much better than the first, and I believe this will become my go-to spot for Vietnamese food. I highly recommend trying their mini pancakes and broken rice.
Edit: Went the third time to try stir fried pho. Highly recommend it with grilled chicken!
Unfortunately, me and my fiancés experience was extremely underwhelming and will not be back anytime soon.
We ordered take out and it was extremely difficult to get through, we had to call multiple times before we got an answer.
We ordered:
– 2 banh mi’s – lemon grass beef and pork belly
– Deluxe vermicelli
– Charcoal grilled beef short rib broken rice dish.
My fiancé really liked the pork belly banh mi but I did not have a pleasant experience with the lemon grass beef banh mi- I almost broke a tooth when I bit into the sub. There was a thick piece of bone in the meat and found plastic wrap around the cucumbers!!
My fiancé said the deluxe vermicelli was OK – due to a preference with taste and how it was presented. They also used a garden mix as the vegetables. It was different but didn’t think it complimented the dish.
My beef rib broken rice dish was not eaten- upon opening, the beef looked undercooked. When inspecting the dish, my fiancé and I realized all the meat was raw. At this point I was already super grossed out and not impressed, I didn’t bother eating any of the food.
They are fairly new but this was by far my worst experience with a restaurant.
We didn’t get a chance to call and ask for them to re do it because we saved the main dishes for later in the day and didn’t realize until it was too late. At the same time, I was also not interested to have the dishes remade as I lost my appetite from my experience and didn’t want to give them a try again.
– First impression should be taken into consideration on grand opening day. Dining in should be prioritized over take out. Perception shows that take-out orders were faster than people in dine in which left customers surprised.
– Ordered Bò né & Bún thịt nướng. Pate from bò né was missing, had to check the menu again to make sure it was written on the menu before confirming. They were quick to fix the mistake. Taste for two dishes is mid, a bit salty overall (this depends on personal tastebud).
– Two stars were for the two friendly staffs working. That’s it that’s all since no training was provided. It could have been proper training before and more staffs on grand opening day.
Overall, at this area without any Viet restaurants, they are a monopoly and I do believe they will get better. Good luck!
