Nice little restaurant. The food surprised me… delicious. Cod was buttery and excellent. Small portion but quality over quantity for sure. Oysters good but scrawny. Beer very expensive. $13 can of double IPA was the lowlight of the evening.

The service at Bluewater is phenomenal! The staff was amazing. We were able to bring our dog and sit on the patio. They brought out a water bowl for our dog, and then even came out to ask us if they could make a little meal for our dog!! We loved how they went above and beyond to offer a wonderful customer experience. And then to add on top of that how AMAZING the food was! The bread, the fish, etc. all great! My husband and I both decided that Bluewater is our new go-to spot. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

UPDATE 8.19.23: We came back for a second go around and boy are we glad we did. It was a busy night and the kitchen was a smidge backed up but that did not deter from the amazing experience we had. My husband had the Bone-in Pork Chop again and it did not disappoint. He usually gets a doggie bag when we go out but his plate was wiped clean tonight. I had the Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce/gravy that accompanies it with the potatoes, green beans and tomatoes was so delectable. I sopped up any extra gravy with my bread. We accompanied our meals with the Blueberry Mule & the Strawberry Rose Fizz. Margaret served us this evening and she was excellent. She gave us water right away and after we ordered and she brought our drinks, she let us know the kitchen was a little backed up. She continued to check on us and provided exceptional service. I’ve updated my review to reflect my most recent experience and I’m sure the experiences that will come in the future. (Pics from this visit)
The food was amazing and the chef deserves 5 stars. I had the Al Pastor Cauliflower Taco on the vegan menu & my husband got the pork chop. The tacos were full of flavor and the pork chop was thick and juicy. The live music was such a pleasant surprise & the performer was extremely enjoyable. They only got 3 stars because of the service. Nicole M. only approached our table twice, once to take the order and once at the end to give the bill. I finished my delicious Strawberry Rosé Fizz after enjoying our calamari appetizer but Nicole never asked if I wanted another drink. We watched her continue to check on the table she had directly across from us, walk completely by us even though we tried to make eye contact, and proceeded to check on another table. This restaurant is definitely worth the visit for the food and atmosphere. Also the other servers seemed super attentive to their tables. Im not sure if our server was new or distracted but it was super disappointing when everything else was so wonderful.

Had a great experience here. My partner and I were excited to try the vegan menu – which was wonderful. Had the Buddha Bowl, Eggplant Napoleon, and Baked Ziti.
All fantastic. I am looking forward to coming back here with non-vegan friends and family.
The mocktails and beignets were excellent. Also lovely location, (we ate on the patio) and helpful and attentive staff.

The team at Bluewater went above and beyond to accommodate our wedding dinner and cocktail reception. Steve was with us every step of planning, Chef Cara killed the menu and left our guests full and happy, Courtney took care of every need we could have imagined day of, and bartender Derek kept the drinks flowing. I have never had the privilege of working with such a professional and thoughtful team. They were all stars bringing our intimate vision to life. I literally don’t have words to express my gratitude. We will never forget how they took care of us and our family and friends for our special day.

Stoping at Bluewater Bar + Grill for a short lunch during our bike ride was a great idea. We enjoyed eating each one of their fresh and delicious salads (Pear and Arugula, Tropical Quinoa bowl). Large plates with great flavors. Bypassing the desserts would have been a mistake, both the Ghiradelli (chocolate) Brownie Sundae and the beignets were terrific. Reasonable prices, affable staff, a lovely deck, an overall great experience.

Food was excellent! All 6 meals were enjoyed. Cocktails were great. Outside music was so loud that we could not talk to each other. Unfortunately, too loud to enjoy a girl’s night out. Great music but just way too loud considering the outside area is small.

It pains me to write this negative review of our experience this evening. Our server was great, our food came to our table after almost an hour and we could not hear ourselves think. It was so loud with two large parties seated after we were.
We were eating midway our entree when a party of 12 very loud women were seated next to our table. Their server bumped into my chair, her elbow came very close to my head with no apology. I informed our waiter why we were leaving quickly and he apologized.
The kitchen is loud and play their own music which clashes with the music in the dining room adding to the high decibel level. There are no acoustic sound panels on the walls which are very needed.
Why are large parties seated next to tables of two or three diners? My daughters and I could not have a conversation. Our dining experience was disappointing.
