Came here the other day with some friends. The service was great and the food was delicious. “Danny”(the owner) welcomed us whole heartly and very friendly. We had the green curry Mussels (tasted great), side of French fries, Tuscan cream orecchiette with grilled chicken was my favorite bc of the creamy taste and it was spicy very delicious. And for dessert we had a Blueberry cheesecake springroll and side of ice cream. Everything was great. “Gp” the manager took our order and he was very friendly, he made sure we got everything sorted and everyone had their order. Overall our experience here was great and will return soon to try some of their cocktails.
It was freezing in the restaurant even though the heaters were on. We sat with our scarves, hat and coats on. It was also very dark inside.
The server was very nice and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating. I may go back in the warmer months because the food was good.
Update: After being here a couple times, the service from waiters could use improving. I’ve never been given cutlery or napkins after being served food. Not something I have to complain about at most places. Food is still great, but the price doesn’t match proportion sizes. $20+ for a burger is steep for a sports bar
Additionally, they are absolutely not wheelchair accessible. Despite me calling ahead twice and asking about accessibility (I was worried the snow might cause a problem), they were unprepared for me. When I arrived I sent someone in to ask them to get the ramp for me, which they eventually did (not sure why they didn’t get it out 15 minutes prior when I called to remind them a wheelchair user was coming). The ramp itself was steep, I had to kinda pull my wheelchair up by grabbing the door frame. Next, I was not able to get my chair into either of the bathrooms as they both had a 1 inch lip on a narrow doorway. Finally, worst of all, the “accessible entrance” they put the ramp on, LOCKED ME IN THE BUILDING. We tried to leave after the show and discovered a locked door we weren’t able to get open. Someone waiting for the bathroom pointed out how much of a safety concern that is in case of a fire or an aggravated patron. I went to the bar and grabbed a staff member, asking her to open the door for us to leave. She tried to unlock it but was unable to, and left to grab a different staff member. At this point I asked why they would lock the accessible entrance, and he told me it wasn’t locked- it was just a faulty door. After messing with the door for a few minutes he got it open, and I questioned how they could legally be considered wheelchair accessible if their only accessible entrance was broken. He told me that “he just works here” which I found to be entirely unsatisfying. Because my feedback was not received by staff when I tried to tell them nicely, I will leave my feedback here to warn any mobility aid users to not come here until they make changes to be accessible like they claim to be.
