The soufflé was good, but I would recommend not taking the cheese soufflé on its own. I tried the Soufflé Henri IV sauce moutarde a l’ancienne, and it was much better juicy, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the sauce. The mushroom soup was also very good. To finish, I ordered the sweet soufflé, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it.

We had a pleasure to eat a romantic dinner at this restaurant. The ambience was great. The local was very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The communication was possible as well in English. The food … was delicious. I took soufflé as a starter (the cheese one) and as a dessert (the chocolate one). Both of them were great. I can only recommend this place. Definitely you won’t be disappointed. The dogs are welcomed too.

The Pistachio Soufflé was absolutely delicious. I came back again after 8 years since my first visit to Paris, and I’m truly happy to say that the taste is still just as amazing as it was before. Nothing has changed at all.
I’m very impressed and would definitely say this is one of the best soufflé places in Paris.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable.
Not crowded or cramped, and the tables are spaced nicely (unlike many other places).
You can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Special thanks and compliments to Johanie for the wonderful service. She was sweet, polite, and extremely attentive, which made the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

The place to go and experience great souffle! The menu is not that interesting, but if you stick to the souffle choices you will not be disappointed. Haven’t tasted better anywhere else. The service could be more attentive but I can only assume they are just tired. It’s a place one returns for more .

So glad we came here for souffles! We opted for the sweet ones (grand marnier and the vanilla with red fruit puree) – they were fluffy and not too sweet. The coffees were a bit pricey compared to other cafes. Reservations are recommended. The tables are close together so you’ll often hear the conversations from the patrons around you. Service wasn’t bad – they were prompt, and appreciated us speaking French.

I decided to try Le Récamier because I loved the idea of multi-course souffle meal. In that respect, it didn’t disappoint. I was excited to try some new-to-me souffle varieties.
I tried the mushroom souffle which I enjoyed, followed by the pecan souffle which was one of the day’s specials. The pecan souffle definitely stole the show!
That being said, the prices are really high in my opinion for what you get. It’s probably more geared toward tourists, and they feel they can get away with overcharging.
Service was okay, but we weren’t as impressed as we were by the service nearly everywhere else we ate.
The pecan souffle was supposed to come with walnut ice cream. Each souffle is paired with a sauce or some other element. Apparently, the ice cream maker wasn’t working so we didn’t get any ice cream with our souffle, but nobody told us until the food arrived and I inquired.
So we got less than what we were expecting with no effort to replace the ice cream with a sauce or something else. No credit for the missing component. Barely a dismissive apology to make up for the fact that something was missing from what we ordered. I found it odd.
For what it’s worth, I’m glad I tried it but wouldn’t plan to return. There are much better restaurants in Paris.

Absolutely delicious lunch, all around!! We shared the soufflé aux escargots as well as the lobster and crab burger, followed by the caramel soufflé for dessert. Will definitely return on our next trip to Paris! (Note: I wish I had taken more photos, but I was too eager to dig in!)

Never have I ever been to a restaurant such as this! Very interesting and delicious soufflés. They did forget to bring the salad we ordered, but it was a happy accident as we were full enough without it. They quickly removed it from the bill when we mentioned it. Highly recommend!

We found this place as we heard the (deceased) founding chef of this restaurant was obsessed with making the best soufflé and this proved to be true.
We had a reservation at noon and were served the best soufflés we have had ever. I started with the Soufflé Mont d’Or Truffé which was just amazing. It had a melt-in-your-mouth texture with a nice crispy top. My wife had the Soufflé au Fromage which was equally as good and just elevated the classic soufflé we were expecting to taste. For dessert, I ate the Soufflé avec Grand Marnier and my wife had the Souffle au Chocolate.
Good service all round – friendly staff and excellent dishes!

The fois gras was very good. The savory souffle with mushroom sauce and the sweet dark chocolate souffle were delicious. The vegetable soup was good. The service was prompt and professional. The cozy ambiance was pleasant. The location on a pedestrian street was peaceful.
