Owner Benny Qosaj opened Giulio’s Restaurant in 2022. Housed in a beautiful, romantic, Queen Anne Victorian in Historic Tappan, NY, just minutes from Bergen County, Giulio’s Restaurant offers contemporary Italian cuisine. Built in 1880 by the Smith family, the rooms are adorned with carved woodwork and large beveled glass windows that make you feel like you stepped into another era. The warm and inviting fireplaces in the Main Dining Room and Oak Room beckon guests to enjoy a fine glass of wine and a delicious meal. I want to take a moment to say how incredibly wonderful Benny at Giulio’s was in providing the perfect setting, food, and service for the luncheon the day of our Mothers funeral. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming for all of our guests. Benny sectioned off a special area by the fireplace with the sliding doors that provided privacy and coziness for 30 guests. Everyone was able to feel we were all together. The food was delicious with great main course options, it was timely and our servers were so pleasant and caring. When I first saw that things were heading in this direction my first call was to Benny to give him a heads up as this was my mom‘s favorite restaurant. The Victorian setting is magical and comforting. We have followed Benny here from his old location at Vicolo in Old Tappan and he always takes amazing care of us. He revitalized this historic building with true tender, loving care. He even served everyone an amazing chocolate ganache cake for dessert that I didn’t specifically request and that was her favorite dessert! Thank you so much Benny for everything!

I used to visit the owners old restaurant in Old Tappan. It has been many years since he took over Guilio’s . I’m sorry I waited so long to visit. What a great meal we had as a family of six. Each of us were very happy with our selection and the service was great. I see some reviews from 3 years ago that don’t make sense, maybe it was during the transition of owners but this place is amazing and we can’t wait to come back.

We recently hosted a baby shower for about 40 guests at Guilio’s, and it was simply perfect from start to finish! I cannot say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was to host my daughter’s baby shower here last weekend! Beni, the owner, was so accommodating with our menu, and any special requests we had. The ambiance of this old Victorian home is beautiful, with its elegant porch and dining rooms. It was a perfect setting for our lemon themed event, and my daughter was so happy with everything. Our food choices were all delicious! I had the eggplant parmigiana, and it was spectacular. Other guests kept telling us how wonderful their meals were as well. The service was exemplary. Our waiters and waitress went above and beyond to ensure our all of our 50guests were well taken care of. All in all, I would highly recommend having an event here, as well as dinner for any occasion. Thank you Beni, and staff for making my daughter’s shower such a memorable day!

We live in Westchester and our son in RIVERVALE and we always passed this resturant. Full parking lot , charming building so with friends we gave a try and wow worth it. Servicecwas friendly and helpful as well as professional. The food was fresh with home made pasta and fresh sauce My fish was excellent as well as everyone else’s meals
They recommended a reasonably priced wine and finished with deserts and after dinner drinks

Nice Victorian building. Valet parking. Beautiful dining rooms. Main courses were cooked nicely done, except appetizers. Salad was under seasoned and calamari was chewy. Dessert was delicious however it was soaked in chocolate sauce looks like from Hershey bottle. Stuff was cleaning table next to us in to a big metal bowl.
