We usually visit Flanigans for lunch, as their lunch specials are excellent and the best deals in town. This visit was for dinner on a night when a big football game was being televised locally. As we expected, the seats at the bar were all occupied with football fans. There was also a 30 minute wait for tables, which wasn’t ideal, but we understood that Flanigans has a sports bar appeal with their big screens throughout. Every table and barstool in the place has a good view of the games. Once we were seated, our experience was superb. Fernando, our waiter, was friendly, professional and efficient. He showed us the dinner specials. We didn’t know about these and some of us, including myself, opted for the steak dinner from the specials menu. The steaks were perfect, done to order, tender and juicy. While the dinner specials cost quite a bit more than lunch specials here, they are still a very good deal. We always like to take advantage of bargains and Flanigans will be in our dinner rotation now that we’ve tried the steak dinners on the menu of discounted meals. The bonus on the night of our visit was that it was exciting to watch the televised game in a lively place full of passionate football fans all around. We will be back to Flanigans sometime soon.

We ordered two cheese burgers medium, sweet potato fries (without sugar/cinnamon) and shoe string onions.
One burger, pictured, was super raw. Not even close to cooked through. (It also had tomato on it which obviously isnt a huge deal it can be taken off and wouldn’t be enough for me to write this review)
The sweet potato fries came with the sugar/cinnamon powder. Why even have an option for it to not be included?
Ultimiately we didnt expect much going in and we’re still let down for a $50 meal it was inedible. I would recommend eating at the restuaruant.

This was our 3rd visit to a Flanigan’s restaurant. Each was from a different location. Our two previous visits were less than ideal. service was bad, slow.and the food was sub par so we were bracing ourselves for more of the same. That was not the case. We were seated almost immediately and within less than two minutes our server came and took our drinks order. He was very attentive and wad available as soon as we had decided on what to eat. The food came out surprisingly quick and I must say was perfectly cook and delicious! My wife ordered a half rack of ribs while I ordered a Philly steak. We were both pleasantly surprised!

The last time I went to a Flanigan’s I ended up with food poisoning and vowed to never return again… after years of passing up, I decided to accompany my family and actually had a good experience at the Tamarac/North Lauderdale location. We sat by the bar and the waitress Evelyn was attentive. Our food was really good, big portions and flavorful, the drinks were on point as well. We ended up staying until happy hour and that didn’t disappoint either. Definitely will be back to this location….

We came to Flanigan’s to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The family had a great time. They have a great selection of both surf and turf, which is just what we were looking for. Amanda took excellent care of us and kept us laughing all night. She’s a magical person. I ordered a full rack of ribs since Amanda mentioned they were “Legendary.” I was shocked at how delicious they were. I tried my Father’s shrimp scampi, also delicious. My daughter’s ordered ribs from the kid’s menu with loaded potatoes only $6.99! We have leftovers. Portions were plentiful. My only regret is that I did not snap a photo of our beautiful dessert. My daughters asked if we could come back here for both their birthdays. We will definitely return soon.

We had such a great experience tonight! The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was our waitress Sarah. She was incredibly attentive and made our evening even better. She refilled our drinks, brought out additional sauces all in a timely manner and kept checking in on us throughout the meal. But what impressed us most was that she did all of this while it was very clear she was busy taking care of multiple tables yet she never made us feel rushed or overlooked.
We really appreciated the care and attention we received tonight and we will definitely be back and requesting Sarah as our sever!

It has great food, a big variety of things of meat and fish, a big variety of drinks. the service was nice and quick. The place has a nice atmosphere with no windows with nicely decorated walls. So even during a hot sunny day, it feels very cozy inside. The tuna sandwich and the chicken were excellent. The price tag is very reasonable. I would say lower than average and south Florida.

After a 40 minute wait for a table for 5 we were seated. The waitress promptly asked for drink orders. They didn’t arrive. Unfortunately after we finished the salads, we again asked for the drinks.
All five us ordered 1/2 rack of ribs. After
another extended wait they arrived.
Everyone but me received the 1/2 rack,
but mine was 1/4 rack. They were sent back and several minutes later, the same plate was brought out. I requested to speak to the manager who replied the portion was the same as the other diners, when it was clear to all they were not. The manager refused to correct the problem until everyone at the table spoke up.
The new plate came out undercooked.
Since I was still eating, the waitress began clearing the table and dropped trash from one of the plates onto my plate. At that point,
I was done. What a disappointing evening!
The restaurant was decorated for St. Patrick’s Day, but you won’t find a pot of gold there or even an enjoyable experience.
