I’m going to be dreaming about the super garlicky pad prick king (spicy chicken with vegetables) with brown rice. My friend’s basil stirfry was equally delicious. Honestly I couldn’t think of any better Thai food in the Bay Area, and I eat Thai a lot! Fun that they have local East Brothers Beer and old fashioned Chinese zodiac placemats. Can’t wait to come back.

We are a 6 hr drive from here, and were actually going to the Mediterranean spot 2 doors down. We always go there when we are in the area and they closed. But a good thing came from that. We found this lil jem. Our new favorite spot. The staff was amazing, loved the atmosphere and the food was so delicious. We always have left overs and our party ate everything I highly recommend and this is our new spot to eat when we are in the area and pass thru.

A mixed bag of an experience with decent ambience but disappointing food and painfully slow service.
Pad Thai: The Pad Thai was decent but lacked the wow factor. It felt like a run-of-the-mill dish that didn’t leave much of an impression.
Soup: The soup was a disappointment. It leaned too heavily on sweetness and an overpowering coconut flavor, which threw off the balance completely. Definitely room for improvement here.
Service: The service was painfully slow. It’s not just slow—it truly tests your patience. Waiting for your order felt endless, which really detracted from the dining experience.
Ambience: The ambience, on the other hand, was a redeeming factor. It’s a cozy and pleasant setting that creates a nice atmosphere for dining, even if the food and service didn’t match up.
Overall, while the ambience might draw you in, the experience falls short due to the food and service.

I haven’t been here for more than two years until today to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. She made the best choice of restaurant that offers such delicious dishes to have her birthday lunch at. There were main dishes we ordered but I got busy stuffing my face.
The owners and servers are very hospitable to cook and serve us. I will be coming back regularly.

I revisited this Thai restaurant and was delighted! Green curry salmon and pad see ew were delicious, but next time, I’ll try a different noodle option. Thai tea was spectacular, and the service was attentive, especially the tall waiter who exuded natural customer service qualities with everyone who walked in

Delicious! Also helps that the staff was really nice and even the cook went out of her way to provide us with freshly made chili sauce and took it to our table herself. Really friendly and very relaxed atmosphere.

My family and I love Sala Thai. The staff is attentive and helpful which adds to the ambiance. We had a birthday dinner there yesterday, and it worked out amazing (they even put up a small sign for us!). Our favorite items are the Angel wings, spicy catfish, and drunken noodles!

Went for lunch, got seated right away. The restaurant filled up with only a few tables for larger parties left, while we were there.
We ordered the chicken satay, the roti and curry dip, the fresh tofu rolls, and chicken larb salad.
Everything was delicious. I asked for lettuce cups for us to eat the salad with. It normally comes with chopped lettuce.
