Came in here for pasta lunch after picking up my bib for the Miami half. Huge space, outdoor area required reservations. Pasta bar inside was decent seating for 1-2 people

Open air layout of the space is cool. Can smell the deliciousness while it’s cooked in front of you, esp if you’re sitting at the pasta bar

Cacio e pepe traditional pasta dish that’s hard to get wrong was tasty. They didn’t over complicate it. Right amount of pecorino

Service was what you’d expect

Bonus is that these guys are on in-kind

Amazing find in the Miami Wynwood Art walls district that serves such great handmade pasta that really made our day for our group! Super love the sea bass pasta that has such well balanced flavours and the fine crumbs added to the dish gave the right amount of textural contrast to make this dish one to remember for a long time. Despite having travelled so extensively in Italy, this pasta dish from Otto & Pepe is going to be remembered as one of the best we have had. The mushroom pasta was also very outstanding and memorable prompting to an additional order of pasta before nicely executed desserts came….. Thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch at this charming restaurant with a beautiful courtyard. Would have loved to dine in the courtyard but unfortunately it wasn’t available when we were there. They are busy refreshing the cushion covers ahead of the weekend peak period as part of their weekly routine. Met the lovely and hospitable lady owner Gaby whom my husband Berlin had a great time chatting with. Turns out she had been living and working in Singapore where we came from for quite a number of years. What a chance encounter it is.

Came here after it was recommended by a foodie friend. When reservation was made back in Jan I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I specified it was Valentine’s Day and my wife’s bday. I figured they were asking because perhaps they would have done something to enhance our experience. (More in that later)

Server was nice and efficient but not bubbly or personable. She went through her favorites and recommendations as well as wine and drink options.

We made our selection as seen in the pictures below minus the tiramisu which was good. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the desert.

We ordered the strachatella and tomatoes (APP) and stuffed católoni, cacio Pepe and beef bolegnese. (Excuse my spelling on the dishes)

The strachatella and tomatoes was nice and light, way to many tomatoes to cheese ratio in my opinion, It was okay taste wise nothing special. Cataloni was average at best, the cheese that melted on top tasted and looked like it had been sitting there for a while or so. The bolegnese was undercooked and had a strange mildly sweet taste. By this time our server asked how the food was and I told her Ehhh it’s not bad but okay… I was hoping she would ask me about it, but brushed it off and walked away.

The cacio de peppe (not pictured below) was the only dish that was a home run. Pasta was cooked very well and the taste was great. Highly recommend. However I feel like it could have needed some type of minor protein like bacon or something. This is just my opinion.

No picture of tiramisu but it was a solid 3.8 out of 5. Have had plenty of these and only thing that was missing was more of that coffee flavor but it seems like it had been pre soaking in the cookie at the bottom and totally couldn’t taste it. Def not made to order as server mentioned she had to CHECK was available for us to pick from.

In the end we had a nice meal, but nothing special was done for my wife on her special day. You would expect some gesture since it was an extra special occasion. Total bill was 192 dollars plus tip. Definitely need more protein options in menu in my opinion.

In the end disappointed overall. The reservation was pointless. Food was average, but atmosphere was very nice.

This is a neighborhood gem! The food is outstanding, and the service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the salad with the pistachios, the branzino and all of the pastas. What a lovely and relaxing place to hang out with friends and enjoy a delicious and reasonable meal!

Had a fantastic meal here. Everything was perfect. The meatballs especially are incredible and maybe the best I have ever tried. So good that we skipped the dessert menu and ordered another meatball appetizer for dessert instead. The Bolognese and the pomodoro pasta great too.

Otto & Pepe absolutely nailed it tonight—super accommodating from the moment I walked in, and my waitress Diana was exceptional and truly made the experience with her attention and warmth. The ambiance, food, and overall vibe were all on point, and living just two blocks away makes it a no-brainer that I’ll be back often.

Loved this place! I was super excited about their natural wine selection and purchased a couple in the front. I also highly recommend their happy hour menu- the pasta was amazing, as well as the tiramisu!

The service was so incredibly slow and the food took forever to come out (the entrees and the dessert) and when they did come out, everything was either lukewarm or cold. For reference, our reservation was for 6:30pm, we got there at 6:42pm and were seated by 6:45pm (due to how far we had to park that day due to the Wynwood traffic), and did not end up leaving dinner until about 9:35pm. Our main server was attentive, however there were so many different people coming to our table, it was hard at first to identify who our server was initially. I am guessing they were all hands on deck that day since it was a holiday, but the restaurant was not as packed as you’d expect for Valentine’s Day evening. Also, the tiramisu was not for me. It wasn’t strong on the coffee flavor which may be something others are looking for, but the consistency of the ladyfingers was that of beef so that threw me off a bit. I am just a bit disappointed in the quality because I have been waiting a few months now to try their food, but I just can’t believe the taste of the pasta we were served. It did not taste like anything you’d pay $130+ for.
