First this is located inside of the Hilton. So people, dogs, and shoppers are walking in and out consistently. There are people just there hanging out, some on their pcs…think of hotel lobby. The service was terrible. The waitress appeared to be upset and irritated. The food was okay. I’m disappointedthe shareable crab cakes only came with one cake. It was delicious. I didn’t the menu pricing so I ordered the soup hubs the fried chicken sandwich. The broccoli cheddar soup was good but I kept finding papery bits in it. I wish now I had taken a picture of the paper square I pulled out. Maybe a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch square. It was so gross I couldn’t eat it. I was too upset with the service at this point to be kind about my soup discovery I just wanted to leave. The fries were good and hubs enjoyed his sandwich.

We were visiting friends for the weekend and obviously got trapped in the storm- Folk Lore stayed open and provided us with great drinks, great service, and great food. I hope all of the staff who served us know how appreciative we are – it’s not easy working through inclement weather.

We had the spinach and cheese Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached. The cheese grits were great. Andrew, our food server, was great. Very attentive and friendly. The water that is served is EXCELLENT! Very nice experience!

Might have just a been the best steak and sides I’ve ever had. Only a few other dining experiences beat this one. And I ordered room service and ate in my room. Was hot and delicious!

I went for brunch on Saturday the place was fairly empty compared to its large size and our party of 5 got seated right away. Good options for food, and portion sizes were appropriate so I felt the prices were fair. They had no bartender and only 1 server for the entire place. It took a long time for the server to attend to our table, the vibe felt off especially with multiple people standing behind the hostess stand talking and not helping the only server who told us he was also the bartender. Only inside seating options. I would go back and recommend to friends for a casual spot that’s not overwhelming on a weekend but definitely disappointed in the service with no fault to the server who was clearly doing his best and keeping a fairly positive attitude.

Our server, Melinda, was phenomenal. I had the chicken pot pie and the crust was perfectly flaky. The chicken was so tender. My husband’s house made potato chips were also delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

Don’t let this open restaurant within the hotel fool you to believe sub-par, it is legit. Everything is freshly made and hot! The Buffalo cauliflower is an awesome & healthy appetizer but makes you feel indulged (sorry no picture, it’s gone) Burgers are well seasoned and fresh off of the grill and the sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had. Unlike the soggy ones from other busy restaurants, the fries are crispy and gees how could they keep the temperature hot and maintain the crisp just pairing next to the burger on an open plate? Wish we had ordered another on the side! The waitress is the best and most professional hostess who recommended my salmon to be blackened, paired with grilled asparagus and freshly made, tasty mashed potatoes-you get two free sides. The freshly grilled half lemon served with the plate – I devoured the whole plate in no time. The bar tender is wonderful and fun!!! (Sunday night Memorial Day weekend) Both bartender and waitress served our dinners at the same time, it’s as if you would expect from a 5 star Michelin starred restaurant. We normally don’t order dessert but got the Reese’s chocolate pie. The peanut butter filling with whipped cream and Reese’s pieces were a treat to share with competitiveness. If you hate to be on wait lists at fancy restaurants, don’t miss Fork Lore, it’s a gem!

Food here is fantastic, fresh, and beautifully presented. I do wish the crabcake appetizer had included 2 crab cakes for the price (and since it’s a shareable app) but it was big and meaty, so it was still worth it regardless.

In the area for dinner and heard great things about this place. Located in Biltmore Park with plenty of free parking and great lil community. First off Michael our server made us feel welcome and attended to. He had great recommendations for drinks and dinner. Group favorites include the fried green tomatoes and blistered brussels sprouts and the bar made an exceptional old fashion and cosmo. We will be back especially if the service remains at this caliber! Cheers!!
