Clearly a good Italian beef near (in) Cave Creek! It’s the real deal. Also, Vienna hot dogs. And a pool hall to boot. Great place! Oh, and don’t forget the cannoli!

Old Style and Malört served here!

Food is so good!
Delicious Chicago dog that was devoured instantly. Cheesecake that tastes like a 5 star gourmet Michelin chef created. Sausage and peppers that tastes like a like home. Very filling Phili cheesesteak sandwich with soft roll, tender meat, flavorful veggies, and homemade cheese sauce that melts in your mouth.
Wendy, our server, spent time with me and helped me select the best items on the menu. Thank you Wendy!
I’m coming back very soon.
Personable owner.
Clean environment.
Lots of pool tables for fun!
Sports games on the tv’s through out the building.
Very comfortable place to bring family and friends.

I just discovered this place in late November 2025, when searching for a place to play pool, without having to deal with the typical pool hall vibe. And wow, what a gem this has been! From my first visit, I was warmly greeted by one of the owners, Jairo, and he happily explained that he and the other owners had just recently reopened this place with the goal of creating a family friendly spot that people could enjoy good food and drink, while playing some pool in a safe, well-lit environment, instead of the stereotypical biker bar scene. When I met the other owners, they echoed the previous statements about building a family friendly hang out for the local community. I had more or less stopped playing pool some 20-25 years ago, expressly because of wanting to avoid any sketchy environments and tough crowds, so this was music to my ears!

Since that first visit, I have returned multiple times with my wife, and we’ve always been greeted by name… Hey! Welcome back, Anthony!… and have enjoyed friendly service and exactly the kind of environment they had promised.

We’ve tried a variety of their food, drinks, and desserts (check out the pictures), and most items rate above average for comparable venues, with a special tip of the hat for their homemade desserts! (Although those fries and onion rings are killer too!) They have a full bar and good beer selection to check out as well.

Now, as for the main attraction for me, those pool tables? Wow, these Diamond tables are among the nicest I’ve ever had the privilege of playing on! No ripped or stained cloth. Perfectly level. True rails. Tight pockets. Regularly cleaned and polished pool balls. They have a decent selection of house cues for folks just checking it out, but you’d also feel right at home bringing in your own cue to play more seriously. They have all sorts of regular players, leagues, and tournaments too! I’m still working on shaking the rust off my game, but it has been such a fun experience, and on occasion I’ve even enjoyed some humbling lessons from playing the regulars or owners. (Yes, they aren’t just business people… they actually enjoy the game, and shoot really well too!)

The North side of town has been sorely lacking a spot like this, and if my review hasn’t made it clear, I’m thrilled they are here! Please consider stopping in to check it out for yourself, so that we can support this local business, and continue to enjoy it for years to come!

I’ve always loved billiards, but after the last good place closed, it was hard to find a clean, well-kept spot. This place recently reopened and it’s the best in Phoenix—great tables, good food, and friendly staff. The cheese sticks and wings were especially good. It reminds me of the top-notch service I experienced back in Ukraine. Highly recommend!

This place is great. It’s a combo restaurant and pool hall that just opened in October and is a nice gem for Cave Creek.

The service was friendly and the recommendations were perfect. The owners stopped by to say hi and to make sure everything was good and took time to talk with us.

We sat in the restaurant side and couldn’t even tell there were pool tables on the other side of the wall with many people playing. They have 5 large screen TVs hung up with the football playoffs on.

I had the Vienna Italian Beef combo with mild Italian sausage. It was served on perfectly toasted Gonnela roll from Chicago, a hot side of Au jus for dunking and giardiniera for a little bit of heat. I paid a bit more and added provolone cheese and upgraded my frys to onion rings. It was like eating a sandwich from home.

We ordered both desserts, on the menue. Cheese cake and freshly made cannolies made by a locall resident of Cave Creek.

Everything was great!!
We give them a 10 out of 10 rating!!

Discovered this restaurant with my sons recently who like to play pool. Service was friendly and the food was good! Definitely try the Philly cheesesteak, Italian Beef , the Smashburger and Chicago dog! Save room for the homemade cheesecake too! Nice addition to the neighborhood!

I love Cactus Racks. Family friendly with great food and service. You have to try their Italian Sausage w/Peppers & Pasta. It’s my favorite. They also have a great billiards room. This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again and again.

The first month they were open I was in love with their food. Classic Chicago hot dog And hands down the most amazing wings in town. Unfortunately the quality of their food has gone down dramatically. It seems like the longer they’re open the worst their food gets. I tried to get up bowl of Alfredo for my daughter and it looked and tasted like the chef just sweat into a bowl and then put noodles in it. I still enjoyed the atmosphere so I would go for drinks play some pool but they had to go and fire their best bartender. That killed it for me. I won’t be returning and I strongly suggest you eat before you go there. Also just because as a resident of Cave Creek it’s pretty blatantly obvious to me but they are not located in Cave Creek. I live in the heart of Cave Creek and they are nowhere near it.

Nice billard bar. Visited today for first time, restaurant is clean. Food ok, should clarify. . I ordered philly cheese steak, roll was good, very little meat, overcooked & dry, very little cheese. I would not recommend the cheese steak. I will visit restaurant again as I like to support local businesses, will order something else on the menu.

Five of us for dinner – had burgers, chicken sandwich and pasta – all good. The burger size was generou and cooked perfectly, the bun was fresh, the fries and onion rings were very good. We are picky about eating fresh, good quality food and were happy to see that was the case here. The service was great – the owners were very nice. We played pool while waiting for our food to arrive – which was nice to have something to do while waiting (but the wait was not long) – and played a few more times after dinner. Our teen granddaughter enjoyed it. Overall a nice evening. We’ll be back.
