With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Great spot for coffee! They have a wide arsange of options. From hots, cold brews, lattes and teas. The caramel cold brew is excitingly friendly! Warm notes of sweet caramel braided into a cool and iced invitation of coffee that leads to a repeat of sup and smile…that sounded good enough to be in a commercial btw 😉 lol. Staff was friendly and working hard! Little bean of espresso on the top gave me that kid at Easter feel. Overall,, I enjoyed my first experience.

Great tasting coffee and they do an actual brewed coffee. Most other places only have americano available, for me that’s not as good as a real brewed cup of coffee. The workers are always nicely dressed and pleasant, no forced conversations here. I think the best part is the dressed up coffees still have a coffee taste.

Our local Dutch Bros are closed due to the enormous amount of smoke we have in our area so we went to Human Bean. Im pleasantly surprised by how good their coffee is. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like my blended coffee from DB is more thick, like a milkshake, and HB is more liquid, like cold coffee with the blended portion floating at the top. Maybe 50/50, blended vs cold. Still worth going back, and the people seem to be pretty nice. No dog cookies today though.
