⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Pretty Good, but Not as Impressive as the Other PJ’s Location”

I came to this PJ’s because I was so impressed with another location, but this visit wasn’t quite the same. My kids ordered the Caramel Cold Brew again (bigger size this time), and they enjoyed theirs. I tried the Southern Wedding Cake with whipped cream — it was okay, but not as sweet or flavorful as I expected.

We had to get beignets again, and while this order came with more pieces than the other PJ’s we visited, the wait was over 15 minutes. What frustrated me was seeing people who ordered after us get their items first.

My husband ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. It was good, but we didn’t understand why we couldn’t substitute bacon for sausage.

The two ladies working were clearly very busy, but the friendliness and energy we experienced at the other PJ’s just wasn’t there. Overall, the experience was okay, but definitely on the pricey side — about $50 for three drinks, beignets, and a sandwich.

I’d still visit PJ’s again, just maybe not this location.

Ordered takeout. 2 medium roast coffees and 2 cinnamon rolls. The coffee was COLD and disgusting. It tasted like it had 10% coffee and 90% cream. The cinnamon rolls were cold and tasted stale. I called the store several times but nobody answered. What a disappointment PJs. I’ll get my coffee somewhere else.

PJ’s is our new favorite spot the coffee is really good the cold brew has a particularly great flavor. Also their prices are really good for their quality. Even thought twice we went by they were out of nitrogen cartridges but it’s not a factor, this is still our go to coffee shop.

Love coming here. They did have the best mufalettas but got rid of them for some reason. I tried the cuban. It was ok. Their Southern wedding cake coffee is the bomb. I look forward to it every year.

Never consistent. I literally order the exact same coffee and never know how it’s going to taste sometimes good other times bitter or watery. I usually pass them now to go to their competitor but was short on time… and again, bitter. I don’t have time to correct their recipe. I recommend all the time you receive a new order, write down the recipe for all staff because most likely the customer will be back.

Have ordered the same coffee for years. My $10 velvet ice was all watery , and tasted nothing like caramel. It was mocha but the girl at the drive thru window said it wasn’t Chocolate because it would be darker!!! I had to laugh at her die saying that.
Barely put any whip cream. The 2 girls working there need a refresher course in customer service.
Bummed out /disappointed

PJ’S has been one of my favorite coffee shops since the early 1990s.
It’s been quite a ride to see the growth from the Maple & Magazine stores to so many locations, in strip centers & hotels all over the state.
The pastries are good, but not outstanding.
The coffee, on the other hand, is about as good as it gets. Especially the cold brewed, but the hot is no slouch either.
The best thing is that – in my experience – the coffee & service have been outstanding in every location.

I love PJ’s in general. The coffee is light-years ahead of the other coffee chains. This specific location is also 5 stars.
