We will bring new and cutting edge products to the area and continue to search for innovative ways to expand on designs and products. Cannot thank them enough! Our wedding cake, cookies and cake pops were absolutely killer! They have so many specialty flavors and can do flavors that aren’t on their list! Our cake was the most amazing, moist Apple Butter cake, we sent a few pictures and wanted something in between and they did just that!!

Google where is the 10 star review option? My cake was a legit work of art I didn’t even know it was posible to bake something so beautiful. It tasted so amazing too it couldn’t have been better. It brought me to actual tears, so if you need a cake for your loved one come here please!!! I had to work up the nerve to eat it!

Rock City is seriously five stars every time. I wait all year for their king cakes and they are 100% worth it. The flavor is unreal and it’s honestly something I look forward to every single year.
This time I had a special request on really short notice and they were so kind and accommodating about it. They made it happen and it turned out SO good. Genuinely one of the most delicious desserts I’ve had in a long time.
Everyone there is always so friendly and welcoming, and their desserts never disappoint. If you get the chance to grab a king cake when they’re in season, do not miss it. Rock City is the best.

This is our 3rd cake we have ordered and they never let us down! We had a train themed birthday for our two year old and the cake was soooo cute! Courtney was who took our order and was always quick to respond to any questions I had and with great detail. I really appreciated the time spent in making things perfect for us. Of course the cake and cupcakes were DELICIOUS! We will continue to order here for any and all events to come!

We love going to Rock City for all our baked goods. My son had a birthday party last year and we got sugar cookies ordered from Rock City. They were so delicious! This year for my husband’s birthday we ordered a cake and for my son’s birthday we ordered some more cookies! We love visiting randomly as our sweet treat! We enjoy getting to try the different flavors they have to offer! We love Rock City!

I’ve been to Rock City numerous times over the past 5-6 years. I’ve always had great service and great food. I’ve gone there for random sweet cravings, birthday cakes (lemon with blueberry & vanilla with sprinkles) and holiday boxes (love the Christmas assortments and strawberries on valentines).
One of the best experiences I’ve had lately was when I called to have an order delivered to my work in South Charleston on a day they were having a $1 special. I told them I wanted 2 dozen assorted boxes, that I didn’t have a preference but that our office liked fruity stuff and chocolate/PB. They FILLED two boxes and still make the delivery before 5, even though they were slammed. The selection was perfect and I got to try some new goods! Highly recommend calling for random assortments.
My personal favorite items: strawberry pie, peanut butter/choc brownies, cake balls (Peanut butter, butterfinger, lemon), cinnamon rolls and FRUIT PIZZAS.

When I say this place saved me a ton of work this Christmas, I truly mean it. My family loves sweets, so I normally have to make a ton for them to have a good variety. This $30 box was so worth it; everything in it was very soft and good flavor – couldn’t ask for better.

Unique bakery that has a large assortment of sweet goodies. We love many of their baked goods, especially the cake balls, and brownies. We’ve had everything from chocolate covered fruit to a custom Doctor Who blue velvet cake. Everything is usually fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in early if you’re in the downtown area. Morgan and her crew are highly involved in the community and provide wonderful service.

Rock City Cake Company never disappoints! If you need a cake please go here! They are amazing at creating exactly the cake you are looking for!! I’ve posted my fav cake they did for me!! They created it exactly how I wanted! It was a two piece cake so all I had to do was place my fish bowl on top of one and set the other on top of the fish bowl for the full effect when the time came to present the cake. I provided my fish and he wasn’t harmed in the process. Next week they are doing my wedding cake and I can’t wait to see it!! Thank you Rock City!! You Rock!!!

We were visiting from out of state for the weekend. I wanted some good fudge or cheesecake so I did a quick Google search and found this place. Google said get opened at 10. We got there shortly after and saw a note on the door that started they opened at noon so we walked down to the book store and got some amazing coffee and waited for them to open.
At noon we walked back and went it just ri find that all they had were a few fruity pebble cheesecakes as big as my thumb and cookies. I was highly disappointed . I wasted 2 hours of waiting for them to open when I could have been elsewhere.
A group of friends and I come to Charleston once a year since we are all in different states. We will not be going back here.
