This was hands down one of THEE best meals we have ever had. My husband loves seafood and I dabble. I ordered the carpaccio (HAND sliced!!) appetizer and the wine risotto as my main dish and OH. MY. GOD. Every bite was as good as the first!! For both dishes!!

I’ve acquired a taste for octopus though it’s still not my favorite. This one though was SO GOOD that I would gladly have it as a main! It was woodsy/grilled forward while still being incredibly tender.

My husband LOVED the Segreto di chicca pasta with an addition of shrimp tartare.

I forgot to take a foto of the desserts as I’d had quite a bit of wine but I do remember being extremely satisfied with that too!

My husband and I booked La Chicca’s Market to table Sant’Ambrogio cooking class and had THE BEST day! Started with a coffee to plan the menu, a trip to the market, and back to the restaurant to learn and cook with Chef Vittorio. Napi made us feel so welcome. 100% recommend.

I love discovering new places that exceed my expectations and where everything is just right from start to finish.

La Chicca Addagio is one such gem. The service was perfect. They took into account the things we liked and didn’t like, and were genuinely friendly and interested.

Not to mention, all the flavours of each dish were perfectly balanced, and the wines served with them were personally selected by chef Vittorio, which complemented the dishes perfectly. One dish that truly blew me away was the linguine with sea urchin and lime sauce.

In addition, the restaurant is suitable for all occasions and everyone, couples who want a romantic dinner, families who have something to celebrate, friends who want a cosy dinner. The overall atmosphere was super cosy! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

We had a wonderful time at La Chicca. Our visit included shopping with Chef Victorio and preparation with the chef and Lorenzo. Mario, the owner, helped walk us through the whole visit. Lorenzo helped me perfect my Gnudi preparation and Patty got to sharpen her risotto skills. It was a fantastic experience.

i am studying abroad in florence and live right around the corner from La Chicca. Hands down the best restaurant in Florence. Since I am studying abroad here for only a few months, I have taken the opportunity to try as many restaurants and foods as possible in Florence (I try a new restaurant almost every day). This has been by far the best experience I have had. I went two times last week and will be going again this weekend. The first time I went I tried the “blind tasting” and i HIGHLY recommend it. They ask what you do and don’t like (and allergies) and if you prefer seafood or land meat. I was able to try so many spectacular meals that I would have never ordered on my own. And every single thing was delicious. I can be a picky eater and was nervous to try this but i truly recommend to everyone. The second time I went I split the Florentine steak with my dad. Once again … amazing. We also had the oysters which have been the best I have tried in Italy. All of this to say, they are one of the best up and coming restaurants around and I suggest trying it out!!! The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect.

This was our best experience and meal in Florence!
We stopped in around 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening and were seated right away.
We had the amberjack fish, ricotta gnocchi, octopus scampi, muscles, salted caramel cheesecake, and a lemon dessert.
Everything was amazing and the service and chef was wonderful.

We had a family dinner (4). Place is a great get away from typical Tuscany culinary journey ( meat meat meat ). Stafvis friendly and welcoming interior in bright colors. All the food we have had was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the place and have had a great time. It was a nice surprise to see chef approaching every table and checking how is the food.
I added this restaurant to must come back list .

A Truly Exceptional Seafood Experience!

I had the most incredible dining experience at LA CHICCA last night. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the staff was absolutely wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the grilled branzino was cooked to perfection, flaky and bursting with flavor. My partner had the seafood risotto, and it was simply divine—creamy, rich, and loaded with perfectly cooked seafood.
The wine list was extensive, with excellent pairings for the seafood-focused menu. The dessert was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
If you’re looking for a top-notch seafood restaurant, look no further.LA CHICCA is a must-visit. You’ll leave feeling completely satisfied and already planning your next trip back!

This was my favourite restaurant we ate at in Florence
The ambience, service and food were so incredible! I personally loved seeing the passion in the chef’s face as he brought the dishes to our table and obviously tasting that passion in those dishes. Highly recommend this place if you are in Florence!

Dishes we shared: Grilled octopus, scampi & asparagus with basil foam; Half lobster with burnt gnocchi (best gnocchi of my life!); Black tortellini filled with pumpkins & prawn; Linguine with cuttlefish & zucchini. The bread is baked in-house and a perfect accompaniment to soak up all the sauces. We shared a bottle of rosé with the meal and finished with limoncello that was so smooth
