I ate here last night and it was amazing in every way possible. The chef and server were extremely welcoming and basically waited on me hand and foot. I got the spicy beef; it was incredibly flavorful with a ton of fresh garlic and chiles, and was the perfect level of spicy (I like pretty spicy food but I don’t want to be in pain). I’m not sure exactly what happened, but I think an item was forgotten on the order for the table next to me and when the chef realized he started apologizing like crazy and began absolutely showering them with free dishes. They also gave me free dessert which was an authentic Chinese cream filled bun (the chef told me to eat it for breakfast if I was too full which was a great tip). I want to go back and try everything else they have especially their handmade dumplings, cumin lamb dish and build-your-own hot pot! I feel like this is one of those places where anything you try would be delicious.
The restaurant itself is pretty small and nothing special inside but I am still giving 5 stars for atmosphere because it was exactly what I needed at the time. It had been a long day at work and I was still nursing a gnarly weekend hangover so I just wanted to sit in silence and eat spicy food. The best food in Denver! Every dish has so much flavor and perfect portion size. We had the stir fry beef with rice, sautéed eggplant, and sesame chicken – all incredible. Paired with delicious green tea! Owner and chef is so kind and passionate! Can’t wait to have it again.

Wow-what a place. Cute smaller restaurant with super friendly people. And the food……some of the best I have eaten. The Dumplings are made to order and worth the wait. Garlic green beans are Fresh and delish! Def will be back many more times

Food was delicious with one of the most authentic flavor we’ve ever tried. Price is pretty comparable to other similar restaurants. Staff were nice, but not as attentive. The restaurant dining space is pretty tight, only have 1 restrooms for both men and women, and no changing table for smaller children, so if you have small children who is still in diaper, you will need to find alternative way to change them.

This restaurant most resembles my trip to China, both in food quality and warmth of the people. The dishes haven’t been Americanized, so spicy can be spicy. The menu is both in Chinese and English. Extremely friendly staff. I’ve been about five or six times now and found a new favorite dish in their eggplant in sauce.

Overall, we had a nice experience!
Food: Our favorite by far was the pork fried dumplings! They were absolutely delicious, very savory and juicy.
The spicy chicken was spiced really well, but could have definitely used some sauce on the side.
The steamed buns were a little dry and the bread wasn’t as good as some others I’ve had.
Overall, if we came back we would definitely get the fried dumplings again, because those were phenomenal
Service- They were super kind and attentive to us!
Atmosphere- It was a little on the small/cramped end for dining in-store, but luckily there weren’t other people when we dined (like 6 PM on a weekday). If you went during peak hours, you might want to order out.
All in all, we would go again! And definitely order out from here in the future.

I wish I knew about this place sooner as im about to move out of Colorado soon.
This place is legit. It’s authentic Chinese food and it’s not like American Chinese food. As an asian, it always warms my heart to find authentic asian restaurants with owners who take pride in their cooking. The owner was extremely friendly and we can tell how much effort and care he put into making his dishes. We had such a lovely experience and are extremely grateful to have had the chance to support this local restaurant before moving out of CO. If you’re deciding where to go, skip the chinese chain restaurants, and instead give this local mom n pop place a try. You won’t regret! I would 100% recommend if you are looking for authentic legit Sichuan Chinese food in Colorado.
Must try:
– Spicy beef tendon: cold sichuan style beef appetizer in nutty chili sauce with fresh cilantro and onions. Very refreshing.
– Eggplant in sauce: SO GOOD! Crispy on the edges and caramelized with sweet tangy light coated sauce. Must try if you love eggplant.
– Spicy garlic chicken: fried chicken pieces with garlic and chili crisps and veggies.
– Steamed pork dumplings: we were surprised how big the dumplings were compared to most restaurants. So delicious.

NBX Asian Cuisine is a fantastic restaurant with authentic Chinese food. The owner is also the chef and they prepare all their dishes fresh. I recommend the beef eggplant dish if you like eggplant. Just the right amount of crispiness on the eggplant. I also recommend the beef or pork dumplings.

Based on recommendations from other NBX customers, my wife and I had to visit this restaurant. We were seated immediately and service was excellent. The food was better than we expected. We enjoyed the beef brisket noodle soup, fried pork dumplings, mapo tofu and dry fried green beans, and green tea. All the food was very tasty with the right amount of spice. The servings were generous. We spoke to the owner/chef who was very friendly and took the time to discuss his background and approach to cooking. We learned the noodles were made at the restaurant and the fried pork dumplings were made with a recipe he had developed over several years. I now understand why they have such a great reputation. We are looking forward to our next visit!
