I went to this Mexican restaurant for the first time after hearing from a few coworkers that it was good, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, that was a mistake.
I ordered three steak tacos, but what I received were basically onion and fat tacos with a sprinkle of meat for decoration. When I say onions, I mean a mountain of them — there was more onion than steak. The meat itself was greasy, sloppy, and honestly inedible. I actually spit it out.
I went back thinking maybe they gave me the wrong order. The woman who served me was friendly at first, but the moment I said I didn’t want “steak slop tacos,” her attitude flipped completely and she became rude.
I won’t be going back. If this is what they consider steak tacos, I’d hate to see what they do to the rest of the menu. I don’t recommend this place unless your idea of a good taco is onions, fat, and disappointment. Hopefully this saves someone else the trouble.

I choose carne asada fries on this visit. There is an array of choices. I will have to go back and try many more. Not sure the exact history about this location because there are two restaurants with the same name. One is the original and smaller and not as bright, but the food and choices are abundant as well. In the newer and brightly lit restaurant where I had the carne asada fries it is more modern. Regardless of which you try the carnitas are a must and they are not as greasy as others I have tried.

The food here was horrible. I walked in for dinner and had 1 asada taco, 1 carnitas taco, and 1 taco dorado. The asada is not asada, its more like a barbacoa. The carnitas were bland and the dorado was more like a taco bell creation. A taco dorado should be a potato puree in a tortilla that is fried. My taco was potato cubes in a tortilla that was fried. And instead of 1 they brought me 3. Also a taco dorado is fried when you order it or fried in batches and kept under a heating lamp. The ones I was given were fried earlier, and tossed in the microwave when I ordered. They were microwave hot and the tortilla goes from crunchy to soggy. I dont recommend this location. I now understand why no one was in here but the little Caesar had 12 people in there.

My family loves the carnitas, the flautas and the barbarcoa! We have never had a bad meal here and that says a lot cuz my husband is Mexican born and an executive chef. This is his favorite place to get menudo on the weekends! Hand made tortillas are best you ever had! We have been going to Don Alfredo’s since it was the original location that was carry out only.

Loved the service and food. The staff was attentive and fast, the Carnitas were flavorful, the homemade tortillas were fresh and soft, and the barbacoa was bien juicy. Price was also very reasonable for the quality.

I got the burrito dinner loaded with meat which I approve of. Didn’t come with sour cream I guess that’s extra. Rice and beans were delicious too. Carnita tacos are as well. Just as good as I remember. Green sauce on point as well. It was 13.00

Can’t understand Spanish but the employees were nice and ensured we got told all the options possible for the meals. Atmosphere is quite nice, but its not too special. The food is incredible. Nothing much else to say, it was great.

This is an excellent place for tacos! I frequent here often and my go to faves are the steak tacos and their specialty of course, the carnitas tacos! Both are super flavorful and come with lots of meat! The tortillas are handmade and are always fresh and delicious! I highly recommend you stop by and try this out on your next taco tuesday b or any day for that matter!

The best place for carnitas and more of Mexican food. What ever you decide to eat has great taste. Employees really nice people and treat customers with respect. Could be a lot more expensive for the good food they serve.
