Have eaten here when we’re in town for decades, but decided it was time to share our enjoyment for all things Pig ‘n Pancake.
I decided to have the razor clams and eggs for the first time (although everything they have, including their pancakes and swedish pancakes, are excellent, too!). Very tasty. Although it was razor clam season in OR currently, I was advised the clams, while fresh, might be coming from WA or AK currently.
Either way, they were lightly breaded and fried, and tasted great with some tartar sauce and lemon. And surprisingly, they went quite well with my fried eggs, hash browns and country gravy!
Overall, was definitely glad I tried them! Service here is always friendly, kinda like family, and they always try to make you feel like you’re eating at your grandma’s place… or anywhere else you feel comfortable and at home.
My family ordered chocolate chip pancakes, strawberry pancakes, razors and a crab melt. So yummy!
Would stop again at this particular location.
My husband ordered the Swedish Pancakes, and he absolutely loved them. They were thin and crispy, just the way they should be, and came with imported lingonberries and whipped butter — such a delicious combo! He’s picky about pancakes, so him finishing the entire plate without sharing much says it all.
I went for the Veggie Stuffed Omelette, which came with a side of fresh fruits and muffins. The portion size was huge (you definitely get your money’s worth), and the omelette was perfectly cooked, with a generous mix of vegetables and cheese. The fruits were fresh, and the muffin was warm and soft — the kind of comforting breakfast you look forward to on a relaxed vacation morning. I honestly couldn’t even finish the whole thing!
The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant had a cozy, family-style vibe that makes you feel at home. Definitely a great breakfast spot if you’re visiting Seaside or nearby towns like Cannon Beach. Prices were reasonable, portions were generous, and the food hit the spot.
The food was great, traditional pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and such! There was a nice variety and something for everyone.
The service was remarkably quick considering it was a very busy Saturday morning!
We were seated after a short wait and got our breakfast right away.
Good portions.
The prices were a little high, but understandable for the area.
The attached gift shop was interesting to browse through after breakfast.
The portions were huge and the food was delicious. The pancakes were fantastic, and I definitely recommend them.
When we went they were super busy. But our wait was only a couple of minutes. And our food was prepared quickly. The server was really nice.
There is plenty of street parking too.
They also have a gift shop inside that has a lot of fun miscellaneous items.
