Tried this burger spot recently. The burger itself was decent in price, but the burger-to-bun ratio was off, way too much bun, and it wasn’t heated, which took away from the burger as I ended up tossing the bun. Overall, the burger was pretty average at best. The Parmesan truffle fries, on the other hand, were solid, crispy, flavorful, and came with a tasty garlic Parm dip on the side. Service was friendly and quick, which definitely added to the visit.

This is one of my favorite burger spots! I love the burgers here they are absolutely delectable. The staffs here are always so nice. I remember placing an order for pick up because I had forgotten my card so I couldn’t pay in person. The staffs realized that I wanted to eat in instead of taking out and they didn’t go through the hassle of packaging my food. I thought that that was really nice of them to notice since I didn’t say anything. Overall, this place has great burgers and great staffs! 🙂

Super nice staff. The burgers and chicken tenders are delicious. Nice good smash party that’s nice and juicy and chicken tenders that are real meat.

Ordered a pickup order on a busy Friday night, had a order for a plain jr burger modified into just bun and cheese ( picky kid eater) not only did they make the sandwich into a grilled cheese but made on 2 different breads and wrote a note on other bread choices for our next visit! Paul and his crew always go above and beyond and the food was amazing as always!

GREAT BURGER! That Steakhouse Burger is fantastic with the blue cheese oozing all over the mushrooms & burger! That Patty Melt was equally tasty! The fries were crispy on the outside… service was very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back. And it’s connected to Oberweis ice cream shop!

We have been regulars here for the last couple years, and have really liked the food and service. But boy did we have a bad experience yesterday at lunch. Took them almost one hour to bring out our food. Server apologized, saying they were severely understaffed. Everyone in the dining room tense and upset. When we finally left (1-1/2 hours later), cars were stacked in the parking lot, waiting for drive-through orders. To top it off, I had given a 15% tip on their autopay card reader when we had first ordered. They do have above average food, but we’ll probably be going to Culver’s from now on, when we want a good burger! Not worth the risk of having an awful experience like this again!

I picked up a couple of burgers tonight for my partner and I, along with a few other things. They were great! I had to call the store and thank them. I’ve had a lot of burgers, and this was one of my favorites for sure. After working in the food industry and traveling the country grabbing burgers from all over that’s really saying something, especially for fast food. My partner and I really needed a pick-me-up and I’m so glad I drove through TBJ. We needed it!

Very at home feel! First time here and the gentleman at the register took time and came around and explained the whole menu to us! The fries are hand cut and the meat is fresh. Best “That Cheeseburger” and fries we have had in a long time!! Thank you That Burger Joint!

Dropped in to The Burger Joint for a late lunch on Friday. I was pleasantly greeted with a smile by the young lady at the counter. I ordered a double of the Chipotle Jack burger with fries and a drink.
I must have waited maybe 5-6mins and my food was served hot at my table.
The burger was absolutely delicious and loaded with flavor. The fries were both a bit soggy and crunchy at the same time. At first I had an issue with the sogginess of the fries but I found myself devouring them.
During my meal, the manager took the time to come to my table to ask how I liked the burger and we conversed a bit.
I really enjoyed my meal and the pleasant addition of how friendly everyone was made this visit even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere of the burger side of the building seems dark and drab while the Oberweist Ice Cream side is bright white.
When you’re hungry don’t go for the atmosphere, go for the tasty burgers!

First visit, I am impressed. The person taking my order was friendly. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The manager checked on the guest and made sure to give a balloon to a little one before they left. Really made for a wholesome moment.
