I use to eat here more frequently until recently. The food doesn’t taste like how it use too. I would always get the beef stew with rice and peas. It was seasoned nicely. Now it is bland and I had to season it for myself. The prices went up but the quality of the food went down and so has the customer service. I went in the store to buy a piece of cake and Arizona drink. It had a dollar written on it steal. So when I went to pay for my drink, it rung up as $1.25. So I said to her that it is a dollar. So she says to me I don’t know and ask them about the price in Spanish. They responded back in Spanish telling her it is a $1.25. Needless to say, I told her that I didn’t want it and I told her that she could keep the cake too. So I went across the street to buy my drink and I paid a dollar because it was written on it. I wasn’t given a hard time. They don’t ever have to worry about me patronizing their business again. They need the customers more than we need them. So now, they lost a customer and a sale over $.25. Customer Service is at a all time low everywhere and it’s so said.

I got a small personal pizza light on cheese & extra sauce it was ok I’ll give it a 5 from 10 a little different from pizzerias pizza taist more like a frozen pizza the sause taste good only thing is the cheese didn’t taste as good. Ill be back for more pizza from here if by slices but not a full pie. The workers mostly talk spanish there a lot of ordering so it could take little time just like any pizza place this is more of a corner store that haven to make pizza though. I didn’t have any problems waiting peeps there were cool peeps just a mix store & pizza spot in one small store. It’s new to me I’ll be back see what els they make there.

I was here on May 29 with one coworker. The food made us sick as soon as I finished the portion I started vomiting. I felt like I was about to die. I have never been this sick before . My coworker got so sick that she needed to be hospitalized.

I had a taste for rice and peas but I saw they had beef stew. So, I had them both in a bowl. The beef stew was second to none. The beef, the potato, and the carrot melt in your mouth. To top it off the price was reasonable.

The food is decent and fairly priced. The best part is the customer service and cleanliness. They wear masks and the don’t let customers cut in line, unlike the rest of these little shops in the Trenton area. Please, please, please, don’t change that. I can get the same food around the corner from my house but I come here because the owners treat customers fairly. A man came in speaking Spanish and tried to get served while my husband was ordering. At other bodegas they usually let people cut. Not this place. Papi behind the counter told him in Spanish he must wait his turn. I respect that and as long as they continue to be fair and have great customer service I will keep patronizing this business.

The food is good but, the older lady that is the cashier, keeps stealing from me. I caught her 3 times overcharging me. And she knows what she is doing. Twice she overcharged me by $2.00 and the other $1.50. How many people don’t catch her? How much money is this woman stealing from unsuspecting customers? The management at Papi’s is aware of the problem and she is still cashing people out. Fix this problem Papi’s. Are you all going to continue to allow this woman to steal from the community that supports you?
