As they advertised, it is a casual experience of enjoying Mexican dishes in a modern and comfortable setting. It is located in a strip mall, with plenty of parking. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is one of the nicest patio’s I have been to during the pandemic, especially for fast-food. All of the tables have stickers on the tables that show a QR code to pull up their menu. Under the tents, they have lights and fans. All staff members were wearing a mask and I did see our server disinfecting tables. We sat outside, and I didn’t see hand-sanitizer available, however, I’m not sure if there is some inside. Our server greeted us right away, was kind, and he did check on us frequently. We did have a small incident where one of us found hair in our food. Our server and the manager addressed this quickly, apologized, offered new food and they took this meal off the bill. We understand things happen and they handled it great!
For food, we ordered:
Guacamole and pico de Gallo. Both orders came with a side orders of chips. The chips were freshly made, however, they were too crunchy for me. The guacamole was lacking flavor and for the amount you receive for the price you pay, it is not worth it. The pico de Gallo was good and worth the price.
My sister and my niece ordered a #1 which is 3 tacos served with rice and beans. The tacos are served with onion, cilantro, and salsa with your choice of your meat. There is 17 different meats to choose from. Some of the premium meat is a little extra. They also have 3 taco dinners to choose from. The difference is the number of tacos and toppings. Of course you can request any additional toppings you want.
I ordered their #3 which is a torta sandwich. This was delicious. The bread was so soft on the inside and had that nice crunch/firmness on the outside. This meal also came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were not bad, but the beans didn’t taste fresh.
The salsa they have on the table, is not hot at all (if you like spice), so I had to order chopped jalapeños on the side. Overall, it is a decent place, good outdoor seating, good parking, good music, good customer service, but as I mentioned, it is a little bit overpriced.
I plan to go back and try their breakfast!
Another standard is the Horchata. Very happy with their recipe too.
They have a few more things that I want to check out. So yeah, I’ll sit down at one of their tables again.
Serving staff was also great.
