This review is long overdue. My apologies. When in the SE United States, I try to visit this particular location because it’s only steps away from good train watching locations. The staff at this location is friendly and fast. The lines really move quickly. AND, there is the product! Simply delicious.

Lived in Spartanburg for 6 years now, and I gotta say the quality and selection of these doughnuts have gone downhill fast. Especially this last 12-18 months.
We usually come once every 2-3 months, and these last 4 trips have been really disappointing… employees don’t seem as warming as they used to be.
Heck, you used to be get offered a free doughnut or doughnut hole while you ordered/waited, now it seems like they want you to get in and out…
Now the quality of the assorted doughnuts is solid, but the variety is poor. Almost out of everything by 9 AM. The original glazed quality is average. Not as fresh, taste dried out nowadays.
Just really sad & disappointing.

Krispy Kreme is a favorite! Been going here since I was a kid and have tried almost every flavor! The ones I buy over and over are of course the original glaze! Especially when the Hot now sign is on, they melt in your mouth! Lemon filled, raspberry, cinnamon apple, chocolate glazed, and a new flavor oreo! Those are some of my other go tos!

We only have limited flavors available boxed in grocery stores where we live. We don’t really buy them normally because they aren’t fresh (sit on shelves up to a few days) and are overpriced.
However, warm and fresh like these, with such a great variety, cannot be beat!
Our only issue was that the person picking our donuts was looking behind the case and not where we were pointing. They heard “original glazed” and ignored the “cake” part and where she was pointing. I don’t mind the original and was having a hard time choosing mine, so I just used one of my picks to get her the one she wanted. They were all delicious.

Every time I make a trip to this location they never have any doughnuts in the display case. The girls just keep saying this is all we have which is only 3 options. They don’t want to walk to the back to see if any other flavors are ready. It’s ridiculous. This place needs to get a crew that keep up with the demand. I shouldn’t have to drive here and then leave cause they don’t have anything.

Extremely Disappointed — Krispy Kreme Spartanburg, SC
I really hate to leave a negative review, but enough is enough. This is the third time in a row I’ve ordered a mixed dozen and a dozen original glazed, only to get home (30 minutes away!) and realize my order is completely wrong again.
That’s at least $60 spent total — and not once have I gotten what I actually ordered. It’s so disappointing because I used to love Krispy Kreme, but this location just isn’t what it used to be.
I called the store and was placed on hold for a long time waiting for the manager. When they finally answered, the call was disconnected. I immediately called back several times for more than 30 minutes, only to get a message saying the inbox was full. No one ever picked up.
And what’s happened to the filled donuts? They used to be full of filling, and now there’s maybe a teaspoon in there — one small bite and that’s it. Between that and the repeated mistakes, I feel like I’m just throwing money away.
I’ve given this location several chances, but unfortunately, I’m done. Service and quality just aren’t the same anymore.

The store was clean and the employees were happy and helpful. We love going and watching the donuts go down the conveyer belt to get iced. The donuts were fresh and delicious. There’s plenty of sitting area for you to just relax and enjoy your donut and drink. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not sure of the young gentleman’s name who works the drive through on Friday evenings/ nights. He worked this past Friday early night, October 17, 2025 & he worked approximately 3 weeks prior on a Friday evening around 10:00. I wish I knew his name. Both times we have gone through the drive through he has been very friendly and personable. He has a great attitude and helpful. With his friendly nature, my companion and I leave smiling.

Horrible, horrible service!!! We asked for hot doughnuts (which were on the line) and even after they brought us cold ones and we re-asked, they still came back with cold ones. Staff is completely incompetent and had attitudes to boot as if our confusion over cold doughnuts (after repeatedly saying we wanted hot) was putting them out was an unreasonable thing. And yes, we left with cold doughnuts was confusing to them. Please, go somewhere else like the Greenville Krispy Kreme. This place isn’t worth your time.
